My 5yr old granddaughter and I had a special date to see "This Is It". After his passing she became a huge MJ fan. I loved this movie and would recommend it highly. Michael was a master at what he did. It was obvious that the people that worked for him held him in the highest regard. Despite his frail appearance, he moved and sang like he was twenty years younger. The familiar old songs were comforting and it was also great to see/hear them with a bit of a new twist. I wanted the movie to be longer, to be able to see him moving and breathing. Knowing how it all ended was a bit sad, knowing that he will continue to inspire future generations was awesome. This Is It will be at the top of my Christmas wish list.

"This Is It" exceeded my expectations. The movie gave viewers an insight of what was going to be a truly unforgettable,historic and memorable experience for everyone who would have seen his concerts. I loved his music and this movie takes you through all of the musical numbers Michael was set to perform...from his days with the Jackson 5...to his performance of Thriller and even some lesser known songs. This would have been Michael's crowning achievement and now we are left with only a vision of what could have been. Whether you are a huge Michael Jackson fan or someone like me who grew up with his music, this movie is a must see! Beautifully done and such a wonderful tribute to a man who left an awe inspiring musical legacy behind!

THIS IS IT was awesome! Michael's singing and dancing were exceptional...his perfectionism was seen as he directed the staff with what needed to be corrected. He did all this with patience and LOVE! He would request something and end the sentence with "I love you..God bless you"! I am happy that GOD reigned in his life! His best message to the whole WORLD...we need to FIX this world...and it starts with each one of us in our own little circle where we are! His humanity and caring for the world should be contagious! Love you Michael!

The concert would have been an Extravaganza Will the producers consider the tour with (LIVE) with Michael Jackson clips?The people around me all stated they would pay to see it.The Spider ,The Thriller,The Smooth criminal...All the element were pure genius.I did not here a mutter in the theatre as the show went on.THAT IS RARE!!!All ages were there.Grandmas allthe way down to babies.There was a 4 generation of ladies behind us.We alll felt like family.

As a kid, I never got to see Michael Jackson or even the jackson 5 in concert. After watching "This Is It" I finally felt like I got a chance to see more than just a "live" concert. Michael was so charming, sweet and funny. Who wouldn't enjoy the singing and dancing by the best? I felt like I was at a concert which was a dream of mine. The special effects will blow you away. It's Michael Jackson, so I knew it was gonna be amazing.

I was expecting to like this movie, but left the theatre really in awe of this man. In the beginning I thought it was a little weird, but as the movie played on it was apparent that he was creating it all as it played out. Really good movie, I can't wait to see it again. OMG, the music, the moves.....Oh YES...those moves.....(certain moves you've never seen before!) Michael was at the top of his game....on point with every aspect of his vision for this would be concert. THIS IS IT is a true testament to what Michael Jackson was all about. This movie is awesome! Not only do you get to see Micheal perform and hear him sing his wonderful songs. But the best thing about it is you can see him as a human being, not just as a huge star. He had a funny side that you wouldn't expect. I found myself laughing at things he said and his facial expressions. I really enjoyed watching MJ perfect his "This Is It" concert. He is brilliant and there will never be another one like him. He is just so talented in everything he does. I am so grateful that I got a chance to see him rehearse his last to be concert that he did not get a chance to do. I wanted to cry because that was so great and he is human and I really cannot understand why there were so much negative towards him in anything he did, because Michael Jackson is the best and I am truly going to miss him.

MJ couldn't have been more alive and vibrant than he was in this preparation of his concert! I felt the thrill and admiration that his dancers were expressing while watching in awe of him while he performed. MJ said he felt pressure to perform for them and then said he shouldn't full out perform because he needed to save his throat and energy but I guess he just couldn't help himself - thank God or we never would have experienced it either! I also felt more sadness as the movie ended knowing, "this is it" for any more from MJ. His voice and dancing was just as brilliant as 10 years ago. I have lots to say...but limited here

I just saw this amazing concert/movie. It blew me away! As you watch Michael and his dancers go through song through song, you feel like you're watching him in concert. Much has been written about this documentary, so I'll keep this short.
1) I paid $10 for a $100 concert and loved it.
2) Everything people are saying about Michael is vividly true. The false perception that he was a washed-up, drugged-out, struggling shell of who he used to be is COMPLETELY eradicated by his performance and professionalism here.
3) If you were a fan who lost the admiration for him, seeing this may well rekindle that. I was in tears for much of the film because of its beauty and the sadness of not seeing this concert or the rest of his career realized.

I was soooo impressed with this movie, that I would recommend everyone see this movie. He was such a gentleman and he looked so good. He had a glow that I will never forget. I have been a fan of MJ for over 40 years, and this movie was a true manifestation the MJ's talent and genius. RIP MJ I love you. Everyone who wishes to see MJ at peek should see this movie.
This movie was well made and if the rehearsal of this tour is any indication of the real show I would gone to London to see this concert.

The movie was infectious in its joy of music and dance. I couldn't resist the beat so I'm surprised at how enthralled but motionless was the audience. They applauded twice; at the end of the movie and then as the credits finished. It was 2 hours of genuine entertainment. This movie eloquently displayed the loss of an entertainer before he was finished entertaining. I know I’m grateful that we have this video scrapbook of his last endeavor.
The movie left everyone thinking that it would have been phenomenal to have seen that concert. Whether you agree\disagree with his POV on politics\environment (he had to have one of the largest carbon footprints) it was well worth the $$ to enter his musical world for a brief moment.

This movie cannot even be explained in one word. The movie really showed what Me. Jackson was aiming for in his London shows. It revealed the key part in Michael Jackson's performances. That key part is perfection. It was amazing to see Michael Jackson at 50 years old outshine the young dancers that were there. This was going to be a great show. This film inspired me to strive for perfection. Also, the video about the earth truly inspired me to love the earth and take care of it. Rest in Peace to the King of Pop.

The only sad thing about this movie is that we will never get to see what a spectacular concert tour Michael would have done. This gave us a small glimpse of the incredible entertainer Michael Jackson was. He was a humble perfectionist who did it all for his fans. If you have enjoyed his music throughout the years, I highly recommend you see this movie. I have already seen it once, and will be seeing it again.

This movie was so well done, so well put together, I felt like I had been to a concert when it was over. Of course, I was in awe of how amazing Michael is and this shows a true genius at work, perfecting his God given talent for his fans! For all Michael Jackson fans, this is a MUST SEE movie!!!! Awesome and entertaining movie! You get to see a side of MJ that isn't typically shown. He's a gentle spirit with much love and faith. He's a perfectionist when it comes to his art and a pure genius.
