Each time I see this movie, the extraordinary talent of MJ is seen in a new light. His interaction with his top notch backup singers, dancers and crew showed amazing sensitivity to the music and to the people themselves. This show would have surpassed all expectations had it gone on tour. We are so very fortunate to have seen as much of it as we have and to see this sensitive genius at work.

I was expecting it to be good because it was going to be Michael rehersing his songs but I was overjoyed at seeing his raw talent exposed and how in AWE his own dancers and cast was watching him perform because they are MJ fans too. While it was overwhlemingly sad to think that a musical genius like MJ is actually gone now, the experience of seeing him create and perform great music, amazing dancing and striving for excellence the whole way is a wonderful experience for the viewer. The concerts he would have put on would have been the best that anyone would have ever seen, you can clearly see that from watching this film and MJ was trying to give everyone the ongoing message of the power of love and of loving one another - a masterpiece of a film. His abilities seemed as strong as ever, not diminished in any way, quite amazing.

I thought the MJ movie would be entertaining, but it was much more. It was beautifully put together, and gives a very telling portrait of MJ as master entertainer, hands-on orchestrator, patient perfectionist and mentor, and caring humanist. The movie is packed with great dancing and singing plus all the incredible effects made specially for the tour, so it's an uplifting entertainment and reminder of MJ's genius -- which is why the film is also very moving and ultimately sad in reminding us of this great loss. And stay for all the credits; the movie doesn't seem to want to end, and there are rewards right through to when the screen finally goes dark.

This movie was even more than I expected...and I expected a lot!! I've never got to a Michael Jackson concert; but I felt not only had I been to one, but I got to sit on the sidelines and see it all come together. I was blown away with the realization that Michael Jackson really IS his music. It's kinda comforting to know that because he put so much of himself into his craft that he will never, ever, really be gone.

Excellent movie. If you are a fan of MJ songs you will love this. He was so talented. His voice and dance moves. He was also a perfectionist which was noted in the movie. Do not drink soda before the movie or you will have to go to the bathroom and miss some parts. The dancers were so excited to be a part of this show. It was sad to see this talented individual leave us so early. WHAT A PRODUCTION. The tour would have been excellent!

I enjoyed the movie immensely!...It brought tears to my eyes at some parts. I remember seeing Michael Jackson for the first time at Summerfest of 1972 when he was with the Jackson 5!...He was 4 years younger than I and I saw him when he first started out and the movie "This Is It" was his last debut..To me it brought back memories through the 70's, 80's, 90's and now!. This movie really showed how talented of an individual he was despite his quirks. This movie is a "must" see for all Michael Jackson fans.

this movie was amazing, MJ was obviously in pretty decent shape, he should very little exhaustion and moved in a way that he should have been 20 years younger. I was so captivated for the entire film!! I got so lost in the music and watching him at work that I had no idea how long I'd been there. A must see movie for all those who thought Michael Jackson was washed up or past his prime in making his comeback. This film was truly PHENOMENAL and AMAZING!!! It was so interesting and captivating to see Michael's creative process!!! I was really impressed with the true depth of his "Earth Song" and the visual images he used to express himself in this song! Most of all, it was really cool to see him coordinate his performances with his dancers and stage crew! He truly cared about everyone who was working with him, and that is definitely a very rare personality quality in a lot of celebrities nowadays. It's is a known fact that MJ is the greatest performer known to man. I grew up w/ MJ-Thriller was my 1st LP-kids get your parents 2 explain what an LP is-I don't think MJ would have wanted footage seen he was a perfectionist x 10! He sounded coherant up to circle at the end & he got off on a rant I tought maybe he was on something-music is great but I choose 2 remember an earlier MJ as many choose 2 remember Elvis &I think its a waste at still a young age for MJ 2 be gone. 2 many people telling him what he wanted 2 hear. That is my editorial-movie was not a good movie but for footage that was meant for his private collection they pieced it together very well to make a tribute to MJ. I knew this movie was going to be exceptional and I was not disappointed. The musical genius of Michael Jackson showed through in this wonderful docu/movie and am so happy they filmed this epic event. The concert would have been THE concert event of all concerts and a mind-blowing experience for goers. I'm going to see the movie again because it was that good and I'm afraid I might have missed something. I hope it wins awards at the Oscars because it deserves it. There will never be another Michael Jackson. RIP MJ.

Old or young, if you are a Michael Jackson fan and you like his music, you'll love this movie. I always knew MJ was a talented individual but never fully realized the depth of his talent. This movie revealed the true artistry of Michael Jackson. Time literally flew by while we were watching the movie, it didn't drag, there was no superfluous fluff to fill time, just Michael, his music, and all the people that worked hard to make this concert the best it could be.

It's clear from this film that Michael Jackson was deeply involved in preparing for the "This Is It!" concerts and looking forward to bringing to the world the messages his life gave him of "love each other" and "heal the planet." It's great to see some details of his creative genius in song-writing, vocalization, dance, and artistic presentation in action, along with what could be discerned as a humble, giving attitude toward people. And it's wonderful to watch him bursting at the seams with song and dance - this was a man full of love and life. This movie is a gem. Thanks to the producers for putting it together so we can see his further maturation as an artist and human being.

AMAZING!!!!! I have never been in a theater were there was silence and all you could hear was the movie untill " This is It". MJ's fans are so respectful of the "King of Pop". Michael once again proved to the World what we the fans already know, that Michael is and will forever be a true humanitarian, the man has God given talent that we will never witness again. One can only hope that Michael's messages through his music can truely change the world. He has brought awarness to us and in his honor we should act upon it.

I thought this was an excellent tribute to Michael. People should see from this movie that he was truly a wonderful god fearing person who genuinely cared about everyone. He wanted the best for everyone, himself, his dancers, his friends and the world. This man never had a childhood and that is all he wanted was a childhood and the love of those around him. This is a remarkable documentary to see about Michael Jackson. You were able to see a genius at work and also his involvement and interaction with his team and the muscians and dancers. I left the theater in tears, crying most of the movie because this was going to be something special, probably the greatest show ever and Michael was called home before we could see this unfold. He is such the professional and will be missed forever.
Everything Michael Jackson has done has been ground breaking and this one was also going to be ground breaking.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Jackson. I pray that this documentary receives an Oscar win because it deserves to win an Oscar.
