This is the show to see!! I took my 2 kids (10 & 6) the both loved it, it was like being at his concert, front row!! I highly recommend to all MJ fans. "This is it" will leave you in an emotional roller coaster, I wanted to dance, sing and cry all at the same time.. it was that good! I am a fan and I always will be!

This movie is an incredible tribute to a true genius. It is poignant, mostly because we know how this ended. In simple terms, if this concert series had been half of what the movie gives us glimpses into, the King of Pop would have been back on top. Beyond that, we see the MJ that everyone who spoke at his memorial saw, not the "wacko Jacko" that the media portrayed. We see a healthy, consumate professional, a man who is truly kind and generous, clever, smart and funny who easily keeps up and surpasses his 20-something dancers. In short, we see the human behind the King of Pop and we see that human transformed as he sings and dances.

My whole family went and thought it was absulutely wonderful. We especially loved the powerful message and video for his Earth Song. We only wish the movie had been longer - couldn't believe it was ending when the end came. I hope there will be lots and lots of extras when the DVD comes out!

I think that the movie was awesome. As much as I love Michael Jackson, this movie showed me a side of him that I could only see if I were working with him. Where do I begin?! Michael was wonderful and mesmerizing, it made me laugh, cry and want to dance. Michael was such a gentle person he could have been snobbish to the people around him but he wasn't --he treated everyone with respect. I've loved Michael since the J5 days and always will! I truly believe GOD gave Michael to us to spread a message of L-O-V-E. I just wish he could still be here with us to receive the love he should've gotten all along!!

Its very sad all thats happened around MJ. this movie was good maybe didnt live up to the hype but I really did enjoy it, the audiance in the theater clapping along added to the whole thing. and just on a personal note it wasa beautiful reminder of why i am inspired by michael in my life.

Very Sad. So much action it may seem strange to call it sad. The title, THIS IS IT" and knowing that Michael Jackson was a perfectionist made me sad. I am not sure he would have wanted the public to see him in these less than perfect takes.
I also am left wondering what did we not see? There must have been some clips not used because of his health. Or was he always as well as what we saw and he was murdered? How will we ever know? I understand now why his family did not like the idea of this movie. I was hoping for answers. I left with many more questions. I feel like the producers, the public, and I, in a sense have betrayed the "King Of Pop." He was such a perfectionist did this take some of his dignity away?

The incredible aspects of this movie are its intimacy, and seeing how Micheal continued to recreate his music inside of a lifetime of developing mastery with music and dance. To see him generate new nuances inside of music he has been working with for years was an amazing experiance. I was left inspired and in awe. This is more than a documantary covering his This Is It tour, the movie distinguishes mastery in a craft. I was left knowing more about who MJ was. Good Job. Drop what you are doing and go see this on the big screen.

It was okay. I do like MJ, but I expected to see more of a concert and not so much the making of or behind the scenes of making concert/video. I expected to see more of the songs play out to completion, not just segments of songs and performances. Overall, the singing, dancing, performance was great, but I expected more of a finished product. Honestly, I got up 1/2 through the movie and left. Took my 7 year who likes his music and dancing, but after an hour into it, I'd seen enough. Perhaps the 2nd 1/2 was better... Don't know. I would wait until it comes out on DVD if I decide I really want to see the ending.

Ortega manages to present an almost documentary styled concert film, not unlike parts of Madonna's "Truth or Dare". Although Michael is heard repeatedly saying "I want to show them something they've never seen before..." I personally did not see anything I haven't seen before. This film leaves you more in pain for the cast and crew for all their hard work in preparing a live show that will never be performed live, to a live audience. Michael shows that his voice and movement still embody the soul of an entertainer especially when he struggles, then gives in, to singing out, as he cannot stay in his head-voice each and everytime he realized the dance crew had become his audience.

"This Is It" was a great movie! After watching it, you realize what an awesome, brilliant entertainer and man MJ really was. The special effects were terrific. It would have been the most fabulous concert to see. The movie made me realize how much more I and all of MJ's fans will miss him. My goodness this was MJ at his creative BEST. He was humble and patient with everyone. to see him in a creative element in his last days was awesome. it was almost as if he knew it were his last days, constantly thanking people and showing love to everyone. he performed every MJ hit you ever wanted to hear. I took my 11 year old grandson to this. We didn't stop tapping our feet and moving in our seats!! We went straight home and played his music for the next couple of hours. I am SO glad we went. How often do you get to see a Superstar in rehearsal!! MIchael looked great, sounded great, and was NEVER out of breath after dancing. He was sweet, kind, charming, and "real"!! He was totally in command and in charge. {This would have been an absolutely awesome show had he lived to perform it as a completed project.] This movie/documentary was very well done and it IS WORTH SEEING!! He was a genius and will be forever missed!!

MJ worked really hard to please and entertain his fans forever. He had an amazing talent and creativity and cool to people working with him. His music and timing WOW. It shows in this movie documentary his dedication for the love to his fans with a striking message to save the planet, touching, moving and alive. This is it an artist of a lifetime. I can watch it over and over again, yearly sure why not. He will always be remembered with grace.

It was so amazing seeing how the entire concert was coming together. Micheal was at home and at peace on the stage and even though he kept instisting that he was not going to use his voice by the end of the song he was fully into it. It is great to see what a difference he made everyday and how much love he had to offer to the world. Watching this movie will fasinate you, impress, open your eyes and get you a little inside to the man we all wondered about, wanted to know so much more. He was a man with great humor, honor and prestigue that will carry on for decades to come. Micheal has touched the lives of millions and with that love he will be remebered for hte great man he was.

Anne from NY summed him up- our latter day Mozart. Amen to it!! Sadly, it took his passing to turn this 35 yo who grew up knowing hardly any pop music into an instant die-hard fan. Michael Jackson is THAT magical. He's an otherworldy genius. Irreplaceable. A perfectionist with unmatched talent and passion and compassion, and this movie shows it all. I went to IMAX on the opening night ,and this Sunday brought my friend to see it together after church. She was so moved by, not only his magical talent but how he brought the best out of everybody, putting the show together never using harsh language nor ever losing his temper. God bless you Michael! I love you and miss you!!
