A beautiful compilation of what he was about to express to his fans. I loved the new songs, especially the Earth song. I loved seeing him at work and seeing how his staff loved working with him so much. He was nothing like the media portrays. I was a huge MJ fan before this movie, but I am an eternal fan now. Michael Jackson was a true musical prodigy. The This Is It Concert would have been a spectacle to behold. This footage is not to be missed because it is the last time we will see this true genius at work. For the first time we got a glimpse into Michael as a person as well as the superstar.

Michael Jackson is definitely the "King of Pop"! There will not be another entertainer like Michael. I've been a fan since he started his career. The movie just reinerates how great of an entertainer he is and it was great seeing him in his last days. I'm just so sad that he's no longer with us. I guess it helps if you love MJ or had always recognized his true genius. But even if you never heard of the man or his music, this film record of his last days is mesmerizing to say the least. For those of us who do love MJ for the brilliant, superstar performer that he is/was, the documentary is both sad and satisfying; inspiring and eye-opening. If I had not seen the movie, I probably would have missed the concert half way around the world. But now - after seeing "This Is It!" the movie - I would have crawled to the ends of planet to see that show! MJ is just truly gone too soon. See this movie. While I have always loved his music, I never had the opportunity to see him perform. And with his last concerts being held in London, I never would have had the opportunity if it had not been for this film. I thank those who took the time to put this together. Michael was truly an extremely gifted human being! Several times I wanted to applaude after he sang. He gives it his all!! he talks about his love for the planet, Hes a perfectionist in truly wanting to create the best show ever made. his awesome singing, his moves, however it is truly sad that through all his hard work in preparing the best show ever, this awesomely excellent concert will never take place :( and he has the best guitar player in Orianthi.The 24 year old hot female guitar wiz from Australia who has already played with guitar legends such as Carlos, Prince, Steve Vai. Michael Jackson was an incredibly talented artist! And "This Is It" gives you a glimpse of what made him so spectacular.
Director Kenny Ortega creates an entertaining film from behind-the-scene footage that captured Michael at work.
He still had the dance moves! And he still had the power to elevate the audience with his voice and soul! I was also amazed at how healthy he looked on stage.
It is a shame his life was cut short by a medical doctor. This movie is a testament of the love, talent, and professionalism that made Michael and his music so awesome!

Michael was beyond awesome...there’s no other like him his talent will never be copied by any other. Watching him rehearse was so amazing there was never a moment that I was not interested. You can see the LOVE everybody had for this talented man. Michael will be truly missed not just because he was king of POP but because of his kind heart.

I find this movie to entertaining, enlightening, and just fun to watch if you are a Michael Jackson fan. If you are not a fan this movie might give you a small idea of how Michael cared about the people he worked with and how important it was to him to put on a great show for his fans. Although, I'm sure Michael has some pampered monents, it is not because he demands them. The people who work with just seem to treat him this way.

Hello everyone! My husband and I saw This Is It last night. And it was just amazing. Michael more than still had it, and it was really cool and interesting to see what went into putting a concert together.
Whether you are a die hard fan, new fan, old fan that maybe did not follow him or his music the last few years, whatever kind of fan you are, you must see this movie. For everyone that is my age (I will be 35 Wednesday) it is especially moving for our generation.
Seeing this movie will be our way of saying goodbye and thank you to Michael for all he gave us. You won't be sorry you went to see it at all.

I thought the movie was great. You watch it know and you just know how amazing the live concerts would have been. This Is It transforms Michael Jackson the Superstar into Michael Jackson, the human being. I look forward to seeing this film over and over.The editing of this film is brilliant, the mood is joyous, and only at the end are we reminded that we lost an American show business icon and mega - talented human being literally overnight. For the cast and crew to have lost the chance to do this show for live audiences, how sad, how tragic. I took my eight yr. old son We were so excited to see Michael's movie. It was everthing I expected it to be and more. Just seeing him perform on stage was uplifting. And always remember his music is with us forever.His electrifying performances were so incredible to witness. It gave us a chance to see how much he gave to his art even just days before his death.I expected to be a mess watching it.Thought I was going to be very emotional. I was dancing in my seat almost the whole movie. It brought back some great memories for me, as I'm 41 and MJ's music has been a constant in my generation. MJ as seen in this movie is a gentle, humble, honest, caring, loving, dedicated person and performer. He is a true artist at his craft. His vision and attention to detail were to give the fans something they could not experience anywhere else. The show would have been awesome...but I think seeing it this way is much better, as you got to see the things you normally wouldn't have seen attending a concert. It's a shame his life ended so early. RIP MJ. Thanks for sharing your talent with us all these years.

If you want to see a real genius at work I would highly recommend this movie. It was truly wonderful to see the kind of creativity and hard work it takes to put on a performance that the fans would have been blown away by. It's about time we get to see this side of MJ as well as everyone that was involved in this film. Can't wait for the DVD. In fact we will definitely be seeing it in theatres again.

Looking at carefully chosen and edited clips of rehearsals of what was to be MJ's final curtain call was what I expected. Any fan, and I am one, would love to see the last "performance" given my Michael. I felt sorry for the dancers that had the fortunate experience to be chosen but were unable to do the show. The show looked like it would have been one of the greatest ever. I have seen hundreds of shows and had the privilege of working on deck as a sound tech for a few benefit shows over the years. I'd like to see the dancer's still be able to do the show; maybe as a benefit with other Entertainment Icons taking Michael's spot, not his place, his spot.

Michael Jackson was electrifying in this film. His performances gave me chills because it brought memories from my childhood. He definitely still had so much of his charisma and talent. He will be missed.

I took my mom,cousin,my 9 yr old son and 5 yr old daughter to go see Michael Jackson's "THIS IS IT" Absolutely by far the best movie me and my family went to see at the theater. I still can't believe he is not with us anymore, just watching him during his filmed rehearsals just brought tear's to my eye's. we all miss him so much although we never knew him in person, he was such a kind human being . when the film was over and we were exiting the theater , my daughter say's out loud bye Michael Jackson ,my eye's just teared up :-( bye MJ we love you and will miss you alway's you are in our heart's forever and ever!!!! genius movie already purchased my pre-order of the dvd yay will be watching it everyday

I love the movie. Seeing him do what he loved and had so much passion for was awesome! I have tickets for this weekend as well, it would make my third time seeing it. This movie gave me closure. I love and miss him so much....RIP MJ
