Words can't describe the movie experience! I put down the pop corn and was mesmerized by MJ's movie. The concert props are unlike any concert imaginable. He looked wonderful and even though he wasn't singing or dancing at concert-level capacity, he was amazing. He was so kind and serious about perfecting his show. The movie and his lie ended much too soon... I look forward to seeing the movie again. WOW!!

excellent. i have always LOOVED rehearsal footage because there's so much more you can see and learn. considering michael wasn't able to put his final approval on the outcome, i think it was well done and well made. this film even showed michael's sense of humor -- i wish i could have seen every tape raw before edits were done, but this film is great. DO NOT WAIT FOR THE DVD especially since we don't know if they'll release it!! some films need to be seen and heard in a theater, and THIS IS IT! don't wait... go see it in person. you'll be glad you did. i love U michael. always have and always will.

This was a heartwarming look at the genius that was Michael Jackson as well as the loving man he was. It was wonderful seeing his command, strength, talent, and love. Also great to hear people who knew him personally and worked with him speak about the man and artist he was rather than being bombarded with the salacious rumors and innuendos of people who are only happy when they are bad mouthing others. I've seen this movie twice and have pre-ordered the DVD already. Michael was a beautiful man and artist inside and out.

This Is It simply put is one of the best movies made. MJ looks so good and his voice crisp, it is a glimpse of what the amazing show would've looked like. the movie is quite sadding however because it was such a great loss to the musical community and for 50 mj can move. "Wanna be startin somthing" was my favorite because I like what he did by making it more up beat and made you feel like you were at a giant party. you can really get a glimpseof what a perfectionist is.. and that is Michael Jackson.

Masterful tribute to the creative GENIOUS that is Michael Jackson. I was spellbound for 2 hours drinking in the sights and sounds of what was to be one of the greatest concerts of all times! As you watch it is so very hard to believe he's no longer with us. What a huge loss to the world. Luckily for us, his legacy will live on through this movie and his other works. As an MJ fan it was a wonderful movie, Bringing back the MJ dance moves, was what I was hoping for. He was so alive and well and brilliant! I can't believe he's gone. He smiled a lot, worked hard, joked around, ate a sucker, and was so naturally brilliant. He loved his fans and his work. I loved this movie. It was so real and I felt as if I were there watching Michael in person. The music and the dancing were fabulous, of course, but just watching MJ direct everything was so endearing. This captured a Michael Jackson we were denied in his lifetime. What a loss. Who hid this MJ? The sound was moving. Uplifting. His attention to detail does not reflect any medications he was obviously taking at the time. My daughter was 8 when I took her to see the Jackson 5. She isn't interested in seeing This Is It. However, my granddaughter is12 and she really enjoyed the preparation and production process along with the song and dance!

A+++++ Better than I expected. Michael is a top star! Always has been. The movie portrayed him as only a documentary can, his real self. He is much more humble person than realized, he was so gracious with his staff and his demeanor put them all at ease. While you see a lot of hollywood stars act out and always in the news - michael seemed so laid back and just was a master at what he enjoyed - music. Such a shame he is gone. He had so many talents.

PHENOMENALl! I may go see it again! And I'm not an MJ freak. But from the standpoint of musical skill, dance skill, & creative production... sooo very gifted. Seeing this, it's impossible to believe he was nearly 50! He was pure energy... IF YOU GO, STAY THROUGH ALL THE CREDITS AND BEYOND!!!!! All the fun music I grew up on... some very powerful new stuff... & some unique & often comical insights into the person. He was definitely more at peace with himself on stage than off, which is so VERY sad. He sure paid a high price for sharing his talent with the world. I hope that the true legacy he leaves behind is the one resounding message of this film: to take care of our world & each other.

As a huge MJ fan I was a little aprehensive as to what this film was all about! What a surprise It was to see MJ at his best! The film showed a completely different side of MJ. He is a perfectionist and his interaction with the music directors, the producers and the dancers was unbelievable! His attention to detail though was not a surprise! I was glad to see the incredible singing and his amazing dancing! The opening scene with all his dancers was really touching! Ken Ortega is a master of his craft and only he could have pulled off such a task! Please go see this movie, you will not regret it!!!!!

Profoundly sad at the loss of this enormous talent...this film humanizes Michael Jackson in a way that I, a life long fan, have never seen. The world has suffered a great loss and this film at least, allows all of us to catch a glimpse of what would have certainly been the greatest concert ever! Do not miss this, even if you are not a big MJ fan! The production and talent of Kenny Ortega will wow you...it is an emotionally charged two hours!
