Saw this movie last night after much anticipation and was the next best thing to seeing the tour. " This Is It "movie provided a complete picture of Michael Jackson at his very best. His purpose in this world as a top entertainer and human being were brought to the screen in realism that is unheard of.
I felt both energized by his amazing energy and creativity as well as sad that he was taken from us upon leaving the theater.
I would strongly recommend seeing the movie to anyone and would like to see it again myself! I believe the movie should get an Academy Award for Best Picture of the Year!!!

I cried probably 50% of the showing. I went on the 27th. Of course I had to be at the first show. I was amazed to see all the work that goes into a concert. Plus all he added, the movies and 3-D. What a totally "INVINCIBLE" show it would have been. The only disappointment. WHERE WAS THE MOONWALK??????. I was on the edge of my seat during Billie Jean crying waiting to see Michael MoonWalk just one more time. I love Michael, his children his family. He will always have a special place in my heart. I have always been an MJ fan - one of my first "records" was a 45 rpm of Dancing Machine. This movie brought it all back. Despite his controversies he was a genius at what he did. I feel he never really grew up emotionally and maybe did not know how to function in an adult environment. That aside he seemed to be a very kind, gentle person, who perhaps was too trusting. This movie shows that side of him as well as his musical genius. I hope it comes out on DVD - I will be buying it. A must see!

I grew up on MJ and believe his music has helped to shape my life. I always loved his music and was empathetic to his life. I made my husband and children go to this movie with me. . . . I believe now MJ has also touched and shape them. My children are 7, 11 and 13 and I am sure each came away with something different from the movie/concert. I have a renewed easiness that MJ was just a man trying to make a difference with his amazing talents. Take your children to this movie. They will gain an appreciation of music, dance, productions, fun, and humanity and hard work!! Also the lesson that even big stars are regular people too!! This was an amazing entertainment experience that shouldn't be missed.

I loved this movie. One of my dreams since I was very little was to see Michael in concert. This, obviously, was the closest I was going to get, and boy was it awesome. I left more in awe of him than ever, and so sad that the concert never happened. It would've been the best, it would've been a great comeback, and it would've been the best concert ever seen! You get a sense of how truly amazing his singing and dancing was...he hadn't lost a beat. His voice was awesome!! You can also see how much he loved working with people and doing this for a living, and just how much the people that worked with him loved it, and him as well.

It was an awesome experience seeing the work behind the magic. We all know how iconic Michael is in concert, but it was amazing to see the genius create the magic. The full involvement in every detail and the precision which he put into creating every moment, sound and movement was absolutely INCREDIBLE and beautiful to see. This movie shows the world the unbelievable talents he possessed. The shape he was in and the absolute amazing energy that he had should put all doubts out of everyone's minds. Last but not least, his "one of a kind" unforgettable voice was just as beautiful and amazing as ever. I just wish that some day we can view all of the footage recorded. If you have not seen the movie you should definitely go see it!!!

I was turned off by the circus that followed MJs death, and put it out of my mind. Slowly, it started to dawn on me what was lost, but again, I filed that way. Then I went to see the movie with a friend, and it helped me frame my feelings about the life and death of MJ. I wanted to applaud at the end of every song in the movie, and it hit me that MJ really was not a human being like you and I at all. I am not sure what he was, but what we all lost was someone unique, iconic, genuine and irreplacable. Go see the movie, even if you are a cynic or have been turned off by the never ending dramas, and see if you don't feel the loss too.

I LOVED THIS MOVIE! What a treasure this is to the World! I'm so happy this much of the rehesal was recorded. It left me wanting more. I was sad when it ended. It saddens me that this concert will never come to be because it would have been the event of the century. The special effects were amazing. I was really captured by the movie as it didn't feel like I was sitting there for 2 hours. What a genius Michael was. He's probably teaching someone the moonwalk right now. It was a good movie. I love concerts and MJ's music, so I enjoyed it. It's was like watching his concert. I do wish there would have been more direct dialogue from Michael though. Not enough of that. Overall, it was good.

It was such a wonderful take on the Michael Jackson we never got see behind the scenes. It showed how simple and kind this man was to everyone. It truly would have been the best concert tour ever and so sad that it will never happen. MJ selected the best in everything -- musicians, dancers, stage effects, costumes, etc. I only wish we could have seen the final performance. Even if you are not a big MJ fan, you will enjoy seeing the work that goes into a huge production. He was a genius and unfortunately suffered the wrath of Joe Jackson, which caused all the weirdness we witnessed. Make time to go see "This Is It" in the theater -- don't wait for the DVD.

A perfection! The movie was awesome! What a master piece! There will never be anyone like Michael Jackson... ever! I thank you for releasing this film as I was not fortunate enough to have seen him live in concert. He was creative, loving, sincere, caring, a talent beyond perfection! Truly God given talent that will never be compared! A true loss to the world & someone who will never be forgotten! My heart goes out to his beautiful children who will continue to be in my prayers.

Wow! It was easy to forget about the creative genius of Michael Jackson, until you see this movie. I've seen it twice and plan to see it once more before it isn't on at the theaters anymore. I'm a fan, but even if you aren't this is not to be missed. Forget all the negative things about Michael and just move to the music!
The music is fantastic and he still moved just like I remembered! Miss you MJ!

Please go see "This Is It." The power and magic that this humble man had and still has posthumously cannot be explained in words. He lived, breathed, existed for music and I felt his energy and presence through the screen. It was a blessing to be able to see those last days of his life and how intent he was on getting it just right for his audience. He was a true Musical Genius.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have witnessed him perfecting his craft, at his age, still going strong and still intent on giving his all. My prayers are with his family, especially his children, for their loss cannot be fathomed by even his greatest fan. We lost an idol/superstar, but they lost a son/brother/father.

This movie helped to demonstrate what most of us already knew: Michael Jackson was one of the most outstanding entertainers who ever lived. Just when you thought that he couldn't top himself, he always somehow managed to do just that. He was constantly full of surprises. He was smooth, innovative, dynamic and electric. More importantly, this movie showed what a generous and loving person Michael really was. It is truly a tragedy that this concert will never be performed in its entirety. The world will miss his light. Rest in Peace, Michael.
