This movie was a love letter to MJ from Kenny Ortega. It seems that everyone was nice and gentle with each other in preparation for the tour. No fighting, no frustration, no problems, just fluffy sweetness. It was eerie because it was like a rehearsal in heaven instead of what really goes on in rehearsals here on Earth. And I almost didn't go to see it because Sony had me believing that ALL the tix were sold out for ALL the shows in the two week period, a move that dampened my experience.

This movie was fantastic. I don't usually see a movie more then once, but this is one I would see over and over. Michael Jackson's talent was incredible. I was sad about his death and felt bad for his kids and family when he died. Seeing the movie has made me feel so bad for all the great musicians and singers and dancers that were choosen to be in MJ's show. Such a loss for the public, but what a terrible loss for all the artists involved. See "This is It". You won't be sorry.

after watching this movie last nite, i would have to say it was really good. i knew it was all rehearsal scenes from the staple center, but if Michael was still alive, the concert would have been off the hook! anyway, you get to see the behind the scene stuff that you normally don't see when it comes to preparing for a concert. i ended up singing all of his songs during the movie and watched the choreography to nearly every song that had. thank you for releasing this movie to the world. =)

Great Movie, for a concert that "wasn't going to happen" This man was a musical genius, and will go down as a genius of our time. To watch his other dancers watch him on their "off" time was such a telling story of the type of man he truly was. They couldn't get enuf of him, and thank God someone had the foresight to catch this all on video. What a tragedy that would have been if, we never got to see even this. His children should be proud, not only did they have a loving a caring father, and will miss him horribly, but, the world will see his true talent, and the real man, on his "stage" of life. May he R.I.P. The movie was gripping and held our interest all the way thru the credits, and the final part after the credits as well.

I became interested in MJ when Thriller came out as a music video. To see that he still had the talent and energy to schedule another concert tour was impressive. Too bad that trying to get professional help to sleep put him in a slumber permanently! We've lost a great talent.

Unbelievable!!! We could not believe how close Michael really was to putting on a most amazing concert performance!! The behind the scenes look at the production of his "would be" tour was incredible. It also showed Michael being the kind gentle spirit that he was and yet so many misunderstood. A great talent and greater person. It is a very sad ending, the person and the music will surely be missed. P.S. I never got to see MJ perform but this movie gave me a wonderful glimpse into his amazing abilities as a singer, dancer etc. I would have loved to have seen the finished product. So sad to see such talent and God Given ability end at such a young age; the world has lost a great soul. Was very impressed with his love for the planet and mankind!

Anyone who grew up listening/liking MJ's music will appreciate this movie. This is a chance to see MJ working hard to bring the best show to the fans. The show brings to light how talented MJ was & his love for the music.
