I've been a MJ fan from the beginning. His death is still hard, but watching MJ on the Big Screen eases the sorrow. Even though I never watched him at concerts this movie really shows how Michael's kindness, warmth and spirit in him. He treated the dance crew like his extended Family. Great show! The dancing and the singing were stellar. Loved learning about all that goes into the making of theater like this. MJ was so gentle but firm in his direction. He was a professional in every sense of the word. It was very clear that he was enormously loved by the whole cast and crew. The dancers on the show were excellent. It would have been the greatest show ever if he had lived to perform it. As it is I'm grateful that at least we have this record of it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. If MJ had not died and lived to carry out the concert, it would have been spectacular. I never realized how much work go into rehearsals and for him to remember all the words to every song he had ever done and all the dance moves for the concert was just remarkable.

It was a chance to reconnect to MJ after all the bad press and lack of any music production in many years. It sort of clears the slate for him and showed that he was still able to put together a great show....even though he was never able go through with the show.

This film is for the true Michael Jackson fan. Watching Michael work is something few people have had the opportunity to experience. If you are expecting to see a Diva, you will be sadly disappointed. What you see is a true master at work, creating, in my opinion, the best concert of his career. Michael never did anything small! It would have been a spectacle to behold. Sadly, it would never be. This film is just a glimmer of his true genious. I recommend this film for all to see.

This film is a glimpse into the making of a Michael Jackson concert, seeing the 'artist' in his element creating a spectacular show! The special effects were incredible. Watching this film reinforced the fact that Michael Jackson is an icon in the music industry. I felt like a fly on the wall getting the inside scoop.

The poignancy and charm of this movie is that the footage was never meant for the public. It shows a candid, real Michael in his element. We get an inside glimpse of his world as a performer and pop music icon. It's a testament to his true, raw talent that oozes out of him as much at the end of his life as in his early days. Beyond that, it's two solid hours of classic MJ music. A must-see for any fan.

The movie was fabulous. Michael was so full of energy, wanting to ensure that his fans got exactly what they wanted. The sound, the special affects, everything down to the precise move. He was on top of it and wanted the show to be fabulous. He will be forever missed in my heart! Too bad the critics did not know or get to know Michael for what he stood for.

I have seen this movie 3x now and each time I come away having gotten something new out of it. To see Michael as Michael..not media Michael was so great. To see the man as he really was.....each time I sit at the end of the movie staring at the screen with a tear in my eye thinking of what could have been, but mostly I see the dedication to his children and think of them and how much his loss has affected them. The movie is so fabulous....even if you aren't a fan, to watch him tick and pull every single aspect of this show together was so worth it. It would have been simply amazing had it taken place.

Since I'm not a big fan of MJ my expectations were not that high, but I was found myself interested throughout most of the movie. It really is an entertaining movie, even for those who wouldn't have seen him in concert. My one criticism is the inclusion of his "man is causing global warming and we are all doomed" message, but I guess that was going to be a big part of his concert, too. Michael was a unique talent, but he certainly hadn't studied the relationship of sunspots and CO2 to long-term climate cycles/

Watching Michael in action during the last rehearsals of his life was an electrifying experience. This movie showed a really personal and human side of him that few have had a chance to witness. It was moving to witness the fantastic rapport between Michael and his performers, their reactions to their idol, and how wonderful he was to work with. It made me wish that I had really known Michael personally and not just as a performer.
Of course, the performances themselves, both vocals and dance, were a joy to watch. It was a retrospective of some of the best of his work that left me wanting more. Michael Jackson will remain forever the greatest entertainer of our time!

If you haven't seen this movie, I recommend you do before it closes. Try to see it in a theater that has the huge screen for the best results and sound. You will feel like you are right there with Michael live. After seeing the movie, I saw who the real Michael was. Humble, kind, loving, caring and awesomely talented. He had a heart for humanity and the earth we live in. He truly was and is the King of Pop.

I almost didn't see this movie because I thought it would be too upsetting. I am just a few years younger than MJ, so like hundreds of thousands of people around the world, I grew up listening to him. And pretending that I could dance like him. Right.
I loved seeing how involved he was in every aspect of a big tour production. His artistry. His perfectionism. All the while, he stayed sweet and thankful and gracious to all of those around him.
To me, the biggest thrill of the show was to watch the reaction of his dancers when they were shown in the audience while Michael performed. These are all tremendously talented artists and they were literally blown away by what they were witnessing.
See this movie.

I absolutely loved this movie. I saw it 4 times, I would have seen it more if I could. IT was a wonderful movie that showed That Michael Jackson was the most talented entertainers there ever was. He was a wonderful singer & dancer & was a beautiful person. I think he is the most wonderful man that ever lived and the most talented. He also was a genius at his craft & this movie showed it. My wife I and took our son to see this, he has become a big Michael Jackson fan. I didn't know if I would like this movie, but it was great. My wife and I both commented afterwards how we had to keep from clapping after some of the performances in the movie, it almost seemed like we were there. It was also great to see that he was using real musicians and live music, in today's pop world that is rare. Despite his problems in personal life this movie shows that Michael Jackson was a musical and entertainment genius.

This movie was simply amazing. I wasn't sure my husband would like it, so half way thru I leaned over and asked and he said, "This is awesome!" Enough said. You will regret not seeing this film!!

This is one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time....it shows the raw talent that Michael had, how he detailed every action in the film. The music is awesome. If you ever loved Michael's music either as a solo performer or with his brothers the Jackson 5, this is a movie for you to see. You will laugh, you will cry. It is quite the heartwarming tribute to a man and his music; Long live the "KING OF POP". He will truly live in our hearts forever.

I really didn't want to see this movie. However, my daughter talked me into it. Afterwards, I was glad I did, but it was a bittersweet experience for me. I loved it! It was wonderful to watch the genius of Michael Jackson at work. I had forgotten about Earth Song and was delighted to hear it again. The choreography for They Don't Care About Us was fantastic. I cried at the end because the end of the movie was a reminder that Michael Jackson this great talent is gone.

The main thing about this movie is that it's a chance to see a superb performer at work. Behind-the-scenes is almost always more revealing than a finished performance, and this film--while it doesn't expose any deep layers in Michael Jackson's psyche--lets you witness great talent. Knowing that MJ is gone makes "This Is It" very poignant, too.

Michael is more talented then I thought. It makes me sad knowing this concert will never happen. It would have been an Amazing show. The crew that worked with him must be crushed yet very thankful to have been a part of his last piece of work. I am thankful or having at least this small piece in the movie.
