This was a beautiful movie that showed a side of Michael we never saw. He was laughing and joking and just happy. Then the professional Michael came out trying to explain his vision to people and at times being frustrated. Only he could hear or see perfection and you saw his struggle in trying to make that come to life in his concert. No matter how frustrated he always way polite and loving. As he said "it's all for love L-O-V-E, love". I highlt recommend this movie to anyone and everyone. I miss you Michael and will never forget your message, your music and all your love. RIP

I went to the midnight showing and I'm glad, this was an excellent movie. Started out like "Fame". Loved seeing the young dancers come from across the world just to audition for him. Loved hearing his voice, he sounded great. I wanted to tell him, "Don't go all out in rehersal, use your soundtracks". He was truly the best I've seen. I grew up with him and will miss him. I loved watching him correct people "with love", and show them how he heard it or saw it. I understand why he always wanted to be there to perfect his vision, but that had to be a grueling schedule. No body doubles, it's him. Some days he's full of life, others he appeared a little tired (who wouldn't), but thank God it showed that it was him. RIP, love you forever MJ!

This is It was an incredible film to watch. It appeared that Michael Jackson was at his best and for a 49 year old to be able to dance and move like that was incredible. Simply amazing. If you had told me that Jackson was gonna die and that I had to film his rehearsals, I couldn't have done a better job even with that knowledge. Brilliantly filmed and edited. People were cheering, clapping, shouting and dancing in the theater. At the end they chanted Michael! One of the best movie going experiences Ive had.

I jus'bought a ticket to the IMAX...very much looking forward to seeing his new work. Although I know it will be an emotional night, it's something we all need to go thru. I am SO EXCITED to see this movie! My friend and I have MJ outfits that are going to be seen by all when we see the film, as a sign of our respect for him! I hope that it soon will come out on DVD so that I can share it with people who love Michael as much as I do!

What a great opportunity to see the greatest entertainer of my generation! No one can captivate a concert audience like Michael Jackson and this film will give us a glimpse into the making of those concerts. I can't wait to see him dance and sing "live"! I wouldn't miss it...I'm going twice!! My local theater is just a few blocks away. Beaver from Brooklyn...your comments are way out of line, go see an x-rated movie which seems to be better suited for your mindset.

I could not wait to get my tickets to THIS IS IT. On Sunday, I searched my zip code. MovieTickets showed the closest theater as being in the next state. Only indie theaters had this "limited release" film. So I got the tickets the dumpy theater over an hour away.
Now every theater in my city, including ones within walking distance, will be showing This Is It. Of course, I doubt I'll be able to switch or get any refund.
The marketing team for the movie can boast "record sales". Meanwhile, how many people were misled and bought tickets at inconvenient theaters?
I hope MovieTickets will help customers in this situation a chance to switch their tickets to theaters that are not hours away.
