This movie was beyond GREAT! A great man and entertainer with natural talent for dancing, singing and creation. It was a concert worth seeing and I am grateful to have only paid $12 for a concert that costed much more to see live. The dancers were great dancers and although they learned the same dances as Michael, not one of them nor can anyone ever be a Michael Jackson double. This man was an ORIGINAL! The ONE the ONLY MICHAEL JACKSON. Thank you for the farewell.

I was choked up watching one of the greatest artists of all time do his thing while other fabulous artists from all over the world--who know talent when they see it--watched him from the sidelines and could barely contain themselves. This movie HAD to be made. I am certain Michael Jackson wanted all his hard-working artists and stagehands and other workers to be recognized and compensated. In one scene, he tells his lead guitarist, "this is your shining moment." He knew what they needed. I will buy the DVD when it comes out (you know it will), and I hope all those artists and the MJ estate receive royalties for the rest of their lives. YES--you should see this movie. You will not be sorry.

I enjoyed this show tremendously. Now I know what Jermaine means when he says that you can feel MJ's presence. For the first time I felt like MJ might have unwillingly died too soon. He didn't look sick to me. No he didn't move like he did when he was younger but who does at 50. In addition, this was rehearsal and he was probably preserving himself for the show. These clippings of MJ showed me his human side. This show really touched my heart. MJ may have only lived 50 years but he accomplished more than most do in a lifetime. I will miss MJ even more so after seeing This Is IT. Love you MJ...Kudos to the Jackson Family for all you have done for society.

This movie was great, Michael was amazing. I felt so sorry for all the dancers that were so excited about working with him. How absolutely devastating they must have been. My personal favorite was when he performed Billy Jean, he certainly was not ready to leave life. I will miss him a great deal.

I have been sitting on pins and needles for nearly 3 weeks, waiting for it to be 12am on 10/28. I was completely engaged and enthralled by Michael and it was actually my only opportunity to go to one of his concerts. We were mesmerized the entire time. Kenny Ortega did a wonderful job presenting Michael Jackson’s final rehearsals. The movie was full of theatrics, songs, dances, music, life, and love. Michael poured his heart and soul into perfecting every aspect of the concert from the melody to the physical interpretation. His musical genius was overwhelmingly present in every aspect of the movie and it was amazing to see him shine again! He is truly the greatest at what he did and will be truly missed. This movie was brilliant! It showed MJ at his best, he gave it his all and we finally had a chance to see exactly how much sweat and tears goes into such a performance. MJ didn't leave us down, it's a shame he has left us. I am sure that if this concert had come full circle and we still had MJ with us, it would of been worth the wait to see him on stage once again doing what he loved to do. Rarely do you get to see such a huge creative process up close and personal. But this documentary provides just that chance. Here was MJ smiling, laughing, creating. The music was wonderful. The beats were familiar, of course, but you couldn't help but rock to those beats even confinded to the theater seats. The new elements they created for Thriller were fantastic. I can only imagine what that would have been in 3D. WOW!

I went to last night's screening, and I've spent the entire night trying to come up with a word to describe it. WOW! that will work for now.
Michael was amazing, I think he gained a step or two. He worked with people that didn't know his caliber of excellence, so he provided direction, but he was loving, kind, and he wasn't afraid to share the stage.
The female guitar player, OMG awesome. Michael will always be the MAN. He was in better shape than the dancers, the media embellished as usual. Michael I will miss you but you left me your musical adventures. He was PERFECTION. MJ is the Man! :)

I never had the privilege of seeing MJ perform live but if this look into his rehearsal is any indication as to what I would have gotten if I had the privilege of seeing this genius at work live, all I can say is WOW!!!! What's most impressive is not the strength of his vocals, his vibrant and energetic dance abilities, his attention to detail or keen vision for his music/performances but the love and purity in what he does; who he is. I loved the movie, I felt like it was all about Michael and what he was saying, not what everyone was saying about him. Just what I was looking for....him talking, him interacting and a chance to really see what he was like. A 'warm-your-heart' movie and excellent tribute to the wonderful man he will always be.

Bought tickets online, anticipating long lines. No need for that. We went to a 11pm screening on the 27th and there were maybe 25 people there, including us. Very surprised at the low turnout. This was really a great movie/documentary. He looked great and danced unbelievably well for his age of 50. He is truly a perfectionist. You can't help but interpret his feelings through the music, it was truly wonderful!!

I loved it! The movie high-lighted Michael's raw talent and perfectionism in order to give his fans the experience of a lifetime! The dancers, singers, band, producers, directors, crews.......everyone was truly amazing! It made me want to get up and dance and I sang the whole entire movie! This Is It shows why Michael Jackson is the greatest entertainer of all time!!! Love you Michael

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I went to the 11 pm viewing and I was tired after a long day in the office. Michael captured my attention the entire show. Perfectionist in every aspect of the word, and he was just warming up. It was only rehearsal, and it was still a top notch show. The best entertainer of all times... and you have to see this documentary for yourself. I can't wait to watch it again, and buy the DVD for friends and family who aren't able to go and watch it. LOVE IT!!!! RIP Michael...

I saw the movie on the opening night (9pm california). There was 3 line-ups and I just couldnt wait. It very much show-cases MJ's talent... pure... I seriously can't compare this guy with anyone. From the director's chair, to choreographer, to sound check, to lightning, he was controlling it all... HE IS AN INSPIRATION... RIP MJ.... Im seeing it again and this time Im taking note...
