I've always known there will never be another Michael Jackson and this movie just proved it. It was a very well edited film. It showed no agenda coming from the creators of the movie. It just showed MJ as who he really is; a genuine, kind person who cared about the world more than anybody else on this planet. Excellent work!

What can I say other than that Michael Jackson was a true genius. The movie gave me insight into his person rather than what I have read in the media. He is gentle, loving, funny, compassionate, perfectionist, talented on many levels and it was a priviledge to witness him relate to others. In some ways it was better than the concert because you were able to see him up close. He will truly be missed. It was interesting to see that the audience consisted of people from all ages and all backgrounds. My daughter and I went together and we both enjoyed every moment!

I heard that this film was designed to show Michael in a positive light, it did just that. I don't think i saw a full performance of any song but you see him going through vocals and the dancing - he still had it. He could still move, he's depicted as being frail and weak in the news and photos - but he was most certainly not frail or weak. He trounced up and down the stage, and was as fluid as he was in the '96 DVD. Simply amazing.
Seeing him play off the other singers, dancers, the guitar player - was nice to see. Also what I really liked was how you get to see how he interacted/directed with the staff. No body doubles, F Joe Jackson

To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect. BUT immediately after I sat down, I calmed down and was filled with anticipation. The movie started and it was WOW til the very end. My friend and I both agreed that not only did Michael look the best we've ever seen but performed flawlessly and energetically. Seeing him last night made me love him even more. There's no one sexier than him, his moves were amazing. Just one of the coolest guys on the planet. What an amazing human being this man was. The show was brilliant. Michael would not have settled for anything less that perfection. The show gives you a peak of what would have been the greatest show on earth from the greatest performer that ever lived.

Michael Jackson was truely a wonderful,caring, humble, sensitive human being. These traits are ones that make him above many other talented hollywood stars. No arrogance, no superiority, no attitude ! Beyond talented goes without saying. How sad to be taken away so young, with so much to give. Think of the father he must have been to his children. He couldn't even say a mean thing to anyone that was working on this concert with him. He cared about everything human. So, yes he was the King of Pop, but beyond that, he was just a wonderful person, father, brother, and son ! I will always be a fan and forever sad that he is gone!!!

"This is It" is a spectacular glimpse of the genius of Michael Jackson. He is truly a renaissance man and great humanitarian. It was truly amazing to see the highest of respect given to him -- very much deserved I might add, from the dancers, the musicians, the special effects technicians to even the director of what would have been the greatest show ever produced on earth!
I am truly in awe of such great talent, the likes of which will never be seen again. Use this movie as an inspiration to achieve and surpass your dreams. He is a great example of how having a vision can catapult you to greatness.

It was so exciting to see a musical genius at his creative best! The musicians, the dancers, the production...everything was some of the best artists and experts in the industry in my opinion. And yet, everyone was so humble and appreciative of one another. Went to see this movie last night.I am a huge MJ fan and couldnt' wait for it to start. It was so good watching him work, dance, sing I was just glad that this footage existed and they did a great job of putting it together into a movie. At the end of it my eyes were all puffy and dry, not from crying, from not blinking....I didnt want to miss anything.

Saw the 11pm show last night with a friend and fellow MJ fan. We loved the movie! I will likely go again. Michael sounded great, his moves were sharp, and this would have been an amazing concert on every level. I also saw more of his personality and humanity (he truly loved people and this planet) in this movie than I've seen in the past. He was in control, a perfectionist, yet very loving, humble, and gracious. His sense of humor was also hilarious. Didn't love his back-up singers (his dancers were great) but Michael was the draw. Go see it!

I saw te the IMAX version of this movie and it was awesome. This Is It! gave MJ fans a chance to see how much of a professional he was; it also revealed him to be anything but incapable of putting on a show as he was in top shape and executing all his signature moves without missing a step or beat. If you want to see one of the best making of concert movies ever, then buy your ticket today. I plan on seeing this a second time...maybe more.
For those worried that this may be capitalizing on the singer's death, DON'T...this was a well put together movie that obviously was intended to shown to fans as part of the overall concert experience. What you have here is a loving tribute to a stellar perfomer.

This movie is spectacular! From beginning to end I was wowed and moved with every aspect of this film. I could not get enough of Michael. This movie gripped every emotion in my body and still has not let go. Wow, this movie was great. If I could see it again, I would. The movie all together was put together really good. I could never see MJ in concert before and more so now, but this movie gave u the insight to the real MJ and his concerts. It felt like u were actually there. I absolutely loved this film documenting the production of Michael Jackson's "This Is It". I felt as though I was part of the crew becoming more and more involved with the constantly evolving production sitting back stage with the cast of world class artisans. The enormous amount of talent from the dancers to the director to the artistry on the screen behind the screen opened my eyes as a producer myself to the possibilities. There will never be a doubt in my heart that Michael Jackson was a genius. There is no doubt that was him at all times in this film. You'll see. I cannot imagine how those players felt when they heard their mentor was gone. I just can't imagine it. "This is It" is more about life than a song. You'll see.

This movie moves the soul. It depicts the creative process that takes the vision talent and genius of Michael Jackson and transformes it into the would be magnificent "This Is It" Concert Experience. It is obvious that this Concert experience would and will set an incredible artistic standard raising the bar to the heavens. It also gives a glimps into the beautiful mind of the artist and his love and respect for the talented musicians dancers, directors, arangers cast @ crew he transforms into a family. I clapped, danced sang and cryed. Thanks for making this a movie it truly moves the soul.

The movie was excellent. Really well put together. It was great to see Michael Jackson again in his realm of creativity. The music is in ever fiber of his body, this was truly about who he was. I felt a lot of different emotions through out the movie from laughter to tears for the loss of MJ. But I would go see it again to celebrate his life!!!

Best movie ever? No, but it was entertaining for sure. MJ at often times half-speed (it's rehearsal footage after all) is still better than what a lot of entertainers can muster even if they were to give 110%. You can see the love, dedication, and genius of his craft.

Award winning film... no. Insight into the musical genius of Michael Jackson... yes. You see him entirely in his element. You get a glimpse of the amazing talent and passion that he had for music and the world. My daughter and I loved this tribute to Michael and oh man oh man what a concert the world missed!!!!
