This movie really showed what a musical genius Michael Jackson was. He was so connected to the music. It gave great insight into him as a fantastic artist. I thought he looked healthy and better than he has in the last ten years. He was sexy again. He was humble, and those he chose to dance with him were amazing as well. This would have been an amazing concert had it come to fruition. The loss of Michael Jackson is a tue tragedy and this movie just amplified that opinion:(

This is It, the MJ movie is completely family-friendly, and also a great display of how one can be in charge, yet without the 'big head' about himself. I saw a gentleman, giving intentionally kind direction during this long footage of rehearsals from just a few months ago. If you know anything about rehearsal, they can be trying on nerves and patience. He was THE MAN, for more reasons than his dancing and musical abilities. He was The GENTLEman. Please go and see it and your heart will know his beautiful intentions and strong character.

The movie brought all his fans a lot closer to him than ever expected. There will never be another like him. Michael was a blessing to this world by God. He knew his purpose and this movie revealed it as well. Love was the real meaning of this film and Sony has done a wonderful job showing the love Michael had for his work ,fans, music and last but not least God. I happened to see the movie yesterday and man I was not disappointed it was awesome. Micheal was awesome. I laughed, cried, I wanted to get up out of my seat, sing along and most of all be there to see it first hand. I still cannot believe such a master of his Art is gone and with knowing that it saddens me. This movie was great and I will be going back to share in this wonderful experience again. This film was incredible. Michael wanted his last tour to be all about love and it definetly was. It's heart breaking to see how hard he worked on this without getting to do at least one show.
The movie started with prize give aways and ended with tears and cheers. <3 I'll never forget it.

I just saw the movie last night, and I already purchased another ticket for Friday night, and then again, on Sunday afternoon with my friends and their kids. I was completely in awe during and after the movie. His voice sounded great, he danced just like he did 2 decades ago, and the tremendous love that he had for people and for this planet beamed from him. I also must say that before this movie, I was a tad bit skeptical that he could even do the London shows, but now I'm 100% convinced -- he could have done it no doubt. Michael -- you were one of a kind, a musical genius. You will be greatly missed, but your legacy and music will live on forever.

This is such an interesting and wonderful in depth look at Michael at work. I loved everything about it. There were some sad moments. There were some laughing moments. And there were MANY inspiring moments. It really really is an incredible global loss. This documentary must be experienced more than once on the big screen. Its beautiful. Its epic. And you won't see Michael go completely all out because as he kept saying, its only rehearsals. However, what you do get to see is still nothing short of amazing. Really makes you sad to see what would have been and just how easily MJ would have dominated the music scene with his concerts. They're were going to be straight out SUPER INCREDIBLE.

Usually when viewing a movie it has undeniable parts that are pleasant and undeniable parts that are not so pleasant. However this movie was extraordinary all the way through. When the movie started it was so quiet I don't think anyone was breathing. A moment of silence followed by laughs, crying and inspiration. Considering this was all practice filming and was never meant to be a perfect finished product as Michael Jackson would have really wanted it to be... it was amazing & filled with talent. He was full of energy calling all the shots & was not showing any signs of being ill at all. Makes me sad to know how great he would have been with this concert. Everyone should see this movie it has a very uplifting message to all of us. Gone too soon... Angels aren't supposed to stay on Earth, thanks for trying. Love you Michael. God Bless You.

He is excellent, alive, phenomenal, timeless, a fantastic performer that gave new meaning to dance, performance and music. He made 50 look like the new 25. I was moved by MJ's drive for perfection and his attention to detail for his craft. He always had the audience in mind every time he asked for more from his performers. A must see for any Michael fan! From beginning to end you are simply amazed by his genius and gentle spirit. The "This Is It" shows would have been amazing with all of the effects and, of course, Michael's amazing dancing and vocals. GO SEE IT!!!

Saw the midnight showing and going again in a few hours with my family. Absolutely incredible!!!! I laughed, I cried and was totally thrilled. It is well worth it. Love, love, loved it. It is bittersweet when you realize that Michael is no longer with us! What a loss to our world!

This was a treat for the fans to see. We are lucky that there was so much of his singing performances recorded during the rehearsals. He will amaze you with his humor, solid vocals, and kindness to others. A must see!
The CD is awesome...got it yesterday and love the demo tracks, poem, the new song, and of course his classic hits included.

I just loved the movie and was deeply touched. Great to see his spirits so high and he moving the way only MJJ could. The extra funk he added in some of his numbers was hot. There will never be another. A lot of what was related in the movie reflects him and what he has always shared with the world L-O-V-E and his expertise in entertainment. It is such a sad thing that he has "gone too soon" but then again, he was put here for a purpose and he exceeded past all of our imaginations. Let us now continue on in the light he left behind so brightly lit! R.I.P Michael

Seeing Michael Jackson behind the scenes displaying his creative genius was incredible! If he were alive to put that show on, it would outshine and shame anything else, anyone else including himself, had ever attempted. He was still at the top of his game, and I still love him for it!!!

I was blown away with the work ethic of the entire cast of "This is It" but especially the King of Pop himself, MJ....really made you respect his humanity, professionalism and talent even more....I hope it comes out on DVD and I am recommending it to everyone to see!

My family and friends were very surprised that I wanted to see this film, but dispite my age I have always thought he was a Fabulious entertainer. I was Very impressed with this movie, it only proves my point that Michael was a Great person and perforner. It is sad that we will never see his art of intertaining again. It is Well worth the time to go see it. Thank you to Kenny Ortega for producing this film and to Michael Jackson's family in allowing it.
