WOW!!! I would recommend this movie to fans and those that are not fans. It was captivating. I took my 16 year old son, who is a fan also to see the movie. We were in there singing right along with all of the songs and if I could have I would have got up and danced :-). But wow, when the movie was over no one got up until the last and I do mean the very last credit closed on the screen. It was like we just didn't want to let him go. I still can' t believe he is gone. He was a true genius and a beautiful spirit. I wil definitely buy it just as soon as it's available on DVD and I will go see it again. If you haven't seen the movie, go see it.

It was everything I expected and everything more...I almost teared up at the beginning seeing MJ up on the big screen (I've never seen him in concert) but watching this movie and seeing what he was putting into the this tour and actually seeing what the shows were going to be about just made me in aww...this was the first time I saw this movie but it won't be my last

This movie blew my expectations. I took my boyfriend with me who is not an MJ fan and he liked it so much that he wants to take me to see it again. There were parts that made you laugh and others that made you choke up. The movie showed the genius behind the music and what it was like to work with MJ. The effects that would have been in the concert were mind blowing and I am glad that the movie allowed his fans to share the vision. It was hard to sit still in your seats and not dance along. If I can get tickets for another showing I will def go see it again while it is in theaters. I also want people to know to stay all the way to end of the credits to see a few extra scenes.

This documentary was wonderful. You get to see the ups and downs, the laughter from their mistakes and the sincerity of Michael as he critiques his back up dancers and the band. It definitley felt like you were actually at his concert and the 3D effects would have been a great addition to his already bigger than life concerts.

Thought the movie sucked and dont know why Joe Jackson would trash his own movie! I couldn't tell the use of any body doubles-If any were used they did a good job! Besides if they did Michael was an old man and couldn't move like he used to! They use them in all other kinds of movies so what if they did here anyway! Whats the big deal! This is by far one of the best movies i have seen in a long time... Being a Michael Jackson fan all the way back to his first album with was well worth watching for 2 hours i would watch it again. I've been an MJ fan forever, so rushed out to see this movie. I was expecting a lot of dancing and lip-syncing as he rehearsed. Nope - MJ's voice was as pitch perfect as always and the performance they were putting together would have been the event of the decade. Definitely worth seeing if you love the music, and even more so if you loved the man.

This was an awesome documentary! It was amazing to be able to watch many of the behind the scenes things that go on in rehersals. It truly showed Michael Jackson's human side, his professional side and his love of music. He was trying to make this concert tour the best ever and it would have been. I had 4th row center seats for the July 18th concert in London. After seeing the film, I can just imagine what an amazing show it would have been. Michael was an amazing talent. The film shows just how incredibly involved he was in every little aspect of the show. He looked energetic and at the top of his game. Thank you Kenny Ortega for making this film, and giving us a chance not only to get a glimpse of the spectacular concert Michael was planning, but also to really see the perfectionist that Michael really was.

I was just in awe...I loved Michael as a kid, and now I was taking my kid who is 13 and he was just as excited as I was. Michael Jackson was simply the best at what he did. No questions asked! I was deeply touched by the movie and sad when it was over. I would love to thank his family for allowing this beautiful memory of him to be released. I feel I have some closure now. He will be truly missed. The movie is captivating and brilliant...its just heartbreaking to know...what happened.

Wow - it was captivating. When the movie was over, no one got up from their seats until the credits were about over. It felt like we did not want to let him go. A number of us were visibly moved.
It gives audiences the opportunity to see a genius at work. The movie was very well put together. If they used body doubles, you can't really tell where that might be and even so, who cares? That is Michael up on the screen in the parts that really matter.
I will definitely buy the dvd and may go to see it in the theatre again.

The documentary is great, I've seen all MJ's concerts (available on video) and this is great because not only shows how the concert was going to be but it also shows Michael's feedback. It is amazing to see how much control he had over everything (in a good way) he is awesome, he was an angel when talking to people, the way he explained what he wanted, I mean there are no words, you gotta see the movie, not even a fan like me saw this MJ's side before. A very insightful look into Michael's personality and the respect he and the director had for each other. I wish we could all be so kind to one another.
I understand why people refer to MJ as "a genius". His unmistakable musical talents came though crystal clear in this film. I just wish I could have seen the "real" show when he sang his best and did his best work.
After hearing what a perfectionist Michael was, I don't think he would like this film to be produced.... but on the other hand, if he had lived, it is inconceivable what we would see if it were produced up to his standards. WOW!

Michael was so passionate in this film. When it came to his music and he had to correct something or cue a part he always ended with "In Love" to indicate he wasn't trying to be harsh. He moved gracefully and accurate,on beat and in sync with every beat! A must SEE. Just sit back and take it all in(His Craft). THIS IS IT!

Remembering the first time the Jackson 5 were on the Ed Sullivan Show is truly sweet. Seeing Micchael's creative force at work in "This Is It" is even sweeter. MJ, the master, even impressed and amazed Fred Astaire. Watching "This Is It" take shape showed the genius at work - both his meticulous attention to artistic detail and his kindness to his crew. I really appreciate being able to see the behind the scenes production and appreciate even more the talent behind the concerts and videos we all came to love. A heartfelt "Thank you" to those who brought this film to the public.

THIS IS IT was awesome. I cried & laughed throughout the film. I am honored that I saw the human side of Michael. Seeing him chew gum, suck on a lollipop, & wear loose sweats, etc, while rehearsing made me appreciate him even more. I first met MJ at my grandrmother's house when we were children and I've been to a couple of the Jackson 5 concerts with back stage passes by invitation of Bill Bray. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, the Jackson family and the estate for allowing us to see this film. I can imagine your grief and your pain and I'm so sorry for your loss. All of those who have accepted Christ as their Savior will see and hear the King of Pop again in Heaven!!! I can't wait.

Michael Jackson was indeed a musical deity. Michael Jackson will be honored by many people now and always. He gave a lot to this world and not just his music. I miss him and pray that Heavenly Father has in a wonderful and beautiful place with a lot of people that will truly love him for now and always.
