This movie allowed the audience to experience the "behind the scenes" as well as the finished product of the artistic genius of Michael Jackson. I was mesmerized by the all encompassing talents of the dancers, musicians, choreograhers and theatrical affects. It was neat to see him working on details and how it impacted the outcome. I also liked the enhanced version of his tunes with the added background vocals and more intricate instrumentals, especiailly the female guitarist.

This was a moving tribute to a talented life lost much too soon. If you're looking for a concert movie possibly this is not for you, but if you want a glimpse of the musical, dancing genius behind the scenes then rush to see this before it ends it's run. You can really get an appreciation of what went into his concerts and the hard work put in by all.

This movie isn't about his private life like so many opinionated people can't get past,but a look at M J's creativity and passion he was willing to share with his fans. He didn't have to have this rehersal filmed,but he did and I am so happy to have been able to see the side of Michael that we never saw. I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased tickets to this "movie".I was fearful it might be a downer,foreshadowing his ill health. I always enjoyed MJ and am within a couple years of his age, so I really wanted to see the final project. I was SO delighted to see the joy he had, and the energy he still had as he glided across the stage during rehearsals and wowed his dancers while also being so gracious. This last tour would have been so special, but this film also turned out to be special because it showed the genius as well as the human aspect to Michael. He never lost his talent, and his children will have this as a wonderful last memory of him as a performer.

What an experience! My daughters, ages 19 and 9, and I had the ultimate MJ experience. I was emotional throughout. Of course, I miss him terribly and it hurts to come to the realization that he is no longer with us. 'This is It' was our outlet to say goodbye, considering we were not able to attend the memorial service in Los Angeles, CA. Unfortunately, this was like the Michael Jackson Concert experience that I wish I had the privilege in attending, as well as a heartbreaking goodbye that I hated to attend. We had a sweet soul amoung us.......and many did not realize this. Go see it! If you are a fan, you will appreciate the movie. Can't wait to own it on DVD.

I saw this movie with 3 young MJ wanna bees and found it to be very entertaining. The kids seem to enjoy it and got a glimpse of the man behind the music. Seeing Michael in action dispelled a lot of the rumors that he was in ill health prior to his death. His energy and enthusiasm were evident in the numerous rehearsals that were captured on film. The movie itself will remind those who followed his career that he was a truly talented performer ... a natural! As for those who came to know him later, it is inspirational. Also, the title is apropos; if you are searching for the words to describe Michael's impact on millions of people around the world, THIS IS IT!

My best friend and I treated our mom's to the movie. It was the best! It was like a concert. We (along with others) were dancing most of the time! We made instant friends with others around us who were also partying and/or crying. Plenty of tissues going around. I miss you MJ. I just hope you got the rest now you deserve for your soul.

A loving tribute to a beautiful human being...I've seen it twice and could see it a hundred more times. His performances will blow your socks off. You'll laugh and cry - Michael could be really funny and you see a lot of that - just how delightful he was. But there are tears as well...many poignant moments and it really brings home the magnitude of what we've lost. If these concerts had gone on - OMG they would have blown the doors off of anything that had ever been done before. Michael, sweetheart, I love you and I miss you so much. I only hope that wherever you are, you can see just how loved you were, and always will be.

This documentary was excellent! I often heard how much of a perfectionist MJ was. This movie showed this and it showed what a genius he was. I am so glad that I got to see the behind the scenes footage. Had MJ lived, this would have been the most magnificent production EVER. MJ is truly the best performer of all times. This movie of Michael Jackson was phenomenal. MJ was a complete genius! i love the way he treated people with respect! He was a pure gentleman. Not only is his music and dancing phenomenal but it also gives us an inner look at the man himself. I couldn't stay in my seat. i couldn't stop dancing. Brought back lots and lots of memories. I enjoyed this movie - watching MJ and also watching the process of putting together such a production. It is sad because it seems he was his own undoing. His work will be missed. The striking contrast between his calm demeanor with his cast/crew and what must have been his inner turmoil is unnerving.

I took my 10 year old daughter to see this movie. She was on the edge of her seat throughout the whole movie. I was truly moved seeing MJ dancing, singing and the energy he was putting into this tour. We left feeling better about the death of a music icon.

I was so verily impressed with This is It. Kenny Ortega captured the essence of who Michael was, is and will always be. It was as though he was still in our presence. The film gave respect to Michael and forever he will live in our hearts and in his music.

The movie was excellent considering it was never meant for public viewing. Michael's voice was incredbile! He sounded great and was on top of his game. I encourage others to see it so they can get a glimpse into his creative process. The man was a true genius and I am happy I got a chance to see him live.

This was a fantastic movie to see. It was entertaining and spectacular to see that MJ can still put on a show. It;s just a shame that this concert is never going to happen because it would have been one of the greatest concerts EVER!
