This film is an excellent documentary of the making of a concert. It showed me how much of a genius Michael Jackson was and how he surrounded himself with geniuses like Kenny Ortega. The editing is what made this film so much fun to watch. The bonus was the splicing-in of classic films, the interviews with the dancers (ala All That Jazz) and musicians, and the inside look at how Michael & team put the whole puzzle together. Loved it!

I was very happy to see michael sing and perform alive one more time. I love that movie and its was good to see michael back in action again. That would have been a Dam good concert had his live wasnt taken so soon. I say everybody that loves micheal and is a true fan go see this movie. I couldnt stop crying cause michael was alive performing on stage and then the next time down below the stage in a casket. I love and miss him so very much.

My wife asked me to go with her to see this. . .I was not that interested, but went. . .and glad i did! Think what you will from what you may have hear/read about Michael the man, as a performer you can't help but revel in the voyeuristic glance into the show that will never be.. .it is sad to think that the lives of so many of the performers who worked on this will be changed forever. This my have been the greatest concert ever. . . one can only imagine what it would have been 'full out'. . .the reverence paid to Michael is deserved. He is/was the true professional, and the king of pop, to be sure.

The movie takes you behind the scenes - we actually get to experience the MAGIC of MICHAEL JACKSON. It was an EXPERIENCE for me being such a huge fan. People were cheering and singing and dancing like we were at a concert. What a gift - gone too soon!

I was so mesmerized by this movie, it wasn't even funny. To be able to see this genius at work was the best gift he could've ever given any of his fans! I think seeing this movie was better than going to any concert because he had so much happening that the fans would've missed because they would've been screaming and jumping up & down and crying the whole time, lol! If they put this on dvd (and I suspect they will), it is definitely going into my collection!

If you have ever enjoyed any of MJ's music this is a MUST see. My granddaughter who is 18 asked me to go and see the movie. I was surprised that she likes MJ's music as much as I do..I am 63. Watching that screen showed that no matter how fraile M was supposed to be he was still incredible in his dancing and singing. It was great to watch Michael dance and sing and as I was sitting there watching him do the Moon Walk over and over I was saddened that we have lost such an artist. This movie lets you see into his talent as a singer, musician and his tremendous artistic talent. If you ever enjoyed his music go and see it. Even if you don't like what M had become in his later years physically no one can take away his music..

So wonderful, beyond description. Emotional and exciting. His creativity and feel for music within himself is inexplicable. Love exuded from him in every second of his film. The cast and crew were the world's best, hand picked by the master. I could not keep my eyes from them as their talent was mesmerizing but I did not want to waste a second of sharing the experience of Michael on stage doing what he loved best. It's so sad that this full concert was not able to be performed.. Michael put so much effort into it, and this REALLY would have been that come back he was looking for. I loved this movie.. Michael was such a good person.. even when critiquing or changing anything he always said "this is with L O V E." I wish that this concert had happened, it would have been the greatest concert EVER. Michael Jackson is spellbinding as usual in this movie. He is/was such a terrific performer, as everyone knows....All ages were in the theater. I really enjoyed watching the thousands involved in putting on such a show. It's such a shame that we can't have more of him in the future. No matter what you think of him personally, he commanded your attention on stage with his extremely spellbinding talent!

This movie was outstanding! I'm a gal from the 50's, but I have always enjoyed his music and admired his musical genius/talent and through the years been fascinated by him as a person. I will be back for a second showing just to catch details I may have missed in the first one. It truly gave a glimpse of his "real" personality. My heart goes out to his children for their loss. Watching this, I can see why they loved him so much.

This movie made me even more sad that MJ is gone. This is It! was going to be THE show of the century!! I liked the way they showed a lot of the rehearsal, (even entire song performances), as well as some interviews. The interviews were well-placed and there were not too many. It was 2 hours of joy for me. MJ was in great shape unlike the news stories reported. This was an inside look at how much Michael was involved in the creation of his music and this show. He was in total control. I really enjoyed the Thriller and Beat It songs where he used the same coreography as the music videos from 25 years ago. I watched them so many times I knew the moves inside and out. It was a shame what happened to him, it didn't have to be that way.

Michael was, is and always will be an iconic legendary, music extraordinaire. The man was a genius and so before his time. I thought that I would cry because I grew up with Michael and his family, but I didn't, I want to cry now as I write this because I know he's gone from us. The journey of the movie was exceptional and it was exciting to watch him at work. For the dancers, they danced with the best...where do they go from there? The musicians' played with, and was educated by the best...where do they go from there? The movie/documentary was done in excellent fashion. Thank you for allowing me and the world to share in his last moments.

Absolutely, more than I would have ever expected. I've loved Michael Jackson and have been a fan of his music all of my life. However, this documentary (which is so well put together) gave what felt like a truly personal look at the genius behind the music. So warm, so loving, so talented, so obviously tormented. I am grateful that God allowed Michael Jackson to come to earth and to live out his life in his music, which is his legacy and gift to us all. God bless you Michael!

It's amazing to see how he worked, he was brilliant. Seeing how he incorporated todays dance to his dancing was simply amazing. He knew just how he wanted everything to look, sound and feel. I'm excited to see how his style lives on and changes as music does. It's a must see if you're an MJ fan.

This was a great snap shot of the King of Pop they we might never have seen. He danced until he died. . .
I was proud and amazed at his performance - even though it was a rehearsal. The rest of the cast was great too. They did a wonderful job selecting them from a World Wide Audition (BTW, who has those? No one but MJ). I'm greateful to the family for allowing us to see this video. I did not want it to end.
It was a blessing to have been able to witness one of God's children shine so brightly.
Bless your soul Michael Jackson.

This movie truly was amazing, and I think that everyone should see it. It really would change peoples thoughts about Michael and see the true musical genuis that he was. He will live on forever as the king of pop because of all his hard work and dedication to the music industry over the years. This movie truly is an inside view into the musical genius, and worth seeing again and again.

Mike was all about love, L-O-V-E. And he exuded it in his coreography, in his music, and the way he treated those around him. You really see that in this movie and basically enjoy a performance of his as if you were there.
