I saw "THIS IS IT" Wed night, and I must say the same thing Elizabeth Taylor said, "BRILLIANT". You will get to see the real Michael Jackson! He is so brilliant! I, as well as many others, have rated this movie "Five Stars", however, I am not shocked by how MJ's perfectionism, professionalism or personality was portrayed in the movie because I always knew who he "was". The man was ALWAYS great, and ALWAYS will be. Michael was all about L-O-V-E and would not hurt a soul/sole and it is a shame how some people treat(ed) him. Also, for those of us who don't "feed into the media", there are more questions this film raises if you watch and listen closely.

I had forgotten how much I liked Michel Jackson's music and the movie was a great mix of the songs that made him the King of Pop. Great to see the behind the scenes work that goes into a concert like his, and great to see him at work. The dancers were AMAZING, and that was a joy to watch. I found myself dancing in my seat, and the audience clapped as if we were actually at his concert. The movie makes you realize what a loss his death will leave. Go see it!

I was skeptical about this film -- thought it'd be a PR move to absolve the concert promoters of responsibility in knowing that MJ was a drug addict, and probably an attempt to milk his devastated fans for every last drop of profit they could.
"This Is It" turned out, however, to be an amazing tribute to MJ, showing through rehearsal highlights and concert prep footage what would've been an incredible concert experience. MJ was very much in artistic control, showing off new (and sexy!) dance moves. He was thin but alert, focused, agile, and energetic.
The theater applauded at the end; no one wanted to leave. Thanks, Kenny Ortega, for this incredible gift to MJ's fans. We'll always love you, MJ.

It was a well put together movie. It gave insight into the all the work it took behind the scenes to prepare for the This Is It concerts. It showed how Michael Jackson was so deeply involved in every aspect of it. It gave insight into Michael Jackson's work relationships and how deeply he was respected by those he worked with. We saw how genuinely affectionate and respectful Michael Jackson was with the people he worked with even when giving constructive criticism to achieve the results he expected. We saw him as a human being and not just a pop star.

This movie is the real Michael, humble, polite, talented, creative, thankful and honest. It shows a side of him that we didn't always see in staged shows and interviews. It's both sad to watch and yet I felt so honored that we have this last and final footage to experience after he's gone. I grew up watching Michael, saw him in concert in 1984 and will greatly miss the talent he so obviously still had and that he felt so driven to share with the world!!!!

We saw this movie with my five year old grandson, when Michael died, my grandson saw all the clips of Michael's music. He begin dancing and singing with Michael, my grandson doesn't understand that Michael is gone. Seeing movie with him and seeing him understand Michael music and talent as much as I do, was a gift. Like fine wine, Michael Jackson had only improved with age. It is society's loss that he took such a long sabbatical out of the limelight, because his God-given talent had only increased over time. The dance sequences, the purity of the vocals... the fact that MJ was a musical mastermind in every way, including timing and showmanship...it's all revealed in glimpses in this 2 hour extravaganza. My 10 year old and I were equally enthralled. We will see it again.

It's a spiritual experience...the music, the dancing, the message, the man. Michael. It's absolutely beautiful. I will sit in that experience as many times as I can and bask in the beauty and perfection and love of Michael Jackson. We have been waiting for Michael to dance again for so many years and this is IT! Michael is simply the most beautiful human being we've ever seen on the stage (inside and out) and any chance to see him gives us a chance to remember the perfection in ourselves and we become a better person for having experienced that. Run, don't walk to the theater to see this movie. Even if you are not a Michael Jackson fan, I think you will find the movie to be enjoyable. I am a huge MJ fan and was captivated for two hours- even wanted to jump up out of my seat and dance along- so it really seemed like a concert experience- one that we will never be able to have in person now that MJ is gone. Although you cannot deny the fact that he was very thin; he was still very passionate, caring towards everyone on the set, perfecting everything, dancing like he did back in the thriller days, and loving every minute of it. This would have been an amazing concert- he still could have had it. It just makes me sad that he didn't- and no one helped him- get out of his drug addiction, and that it ultimately consumed him. I love you and miss you forever Michael, you were an extraordinary performer, man and human being. <3

This was one of the best documentaries that I have seen in a LONG time! You can truly tell how his life had changed the days before his passing. Thanks so much to Mrs. Jackson and her children for allowing this movie/documentary to be released!

I loved this movie. To see behind the scenes, how Michael worked, I thought he was a genius. I loved to see just how tuned in he was with his all aspects of his show, the music, sound, dancing, theatrics etc. I would love to see it again, and hopefully it will be sold on DVD and I will purchase it as well.

As a long time, Michael Jackson fan, I went into this movie thoroughly expecting to enjoy it. I never expected that I would enjoy it as much as I did though. This film shows the King of Pop in all his glory doing what he does best. I would highly reccommend this movie to anyone and everyone. Even my 3 yr. old daughter loves Michael Jackson!!!
