Having huge respect & admiration over many years for the talent & charisma of MJ, I expected to shed tears during this movie. Did not..... but left with a very heavy heart. Besides the confirmation of this huge loss of superior talent & humanity, I was overwhelmed by the huge expenditure of many millions in equipment, stage props & human endeavor that were invested in this extravaganza..... & more millions of presold tickets!! And I thought I (!) was upset when the King of Pop died. What a financial disaster! And the people involved absolutely adored him..............

This movie was the best. LONG TIME FAN You really got a glimpse of what MJ was like in action in his own element. We only knew what the media told us about MJ. He was so kind to his dancers and musicians and everyone that he worked with. His dancing was just as good at 50 as it was in his teens. This movie was such a celebration of his life but at the same time it was so sad that this world had to lose just a great artist. This world was too cruel for MJ that's why he took so many drugs just so he could cope. He will be greatly missed but his legacy will live on and will never be forgotten.

I loved it...not only, sadly, did we get to see Michael during his last days on earth, but we got to see his genius, his professionalism, his sincerety, and L O V E at work. It was a great and sad HONOR to witness the beauty of his loving spirit and the determination to please his fans by giving them the BEST of whatever he did. He demanded perfection and rewarded it from his heart. Remember that "This Is It" are live-scenes from his concert in-the-making and make sure you stay through the credits. Just like his memorial service, I left craving more of Michael and feeling the loss of him more...and more appreciative of the real Michael Jackson.

This film made me love MJ even more! It was an excellent representation of his dedication to his craft. His voice, his moves, his creativity were all on point. 'This Is It' was incredible! I went with 3 people who were not very excited to go. When we walked out they were all so glad that they'd gone. We all agreed, if he was still alive, and we saw that before his London tour, we would have bought tickets to go to London to see him live. The movie humanizes Michael, you see him as a humble, talented, funny, person who loves what he does and is the best in the world at it. A lot of the singing is him at about 70% b/c he's saving his voice for the tour, it's actually better then seeing the actual performance as you see his raw talent and it doesn't come off as overproduced. This movie is such an amazing tribute to The King Of Pop. He should be proud of his legacy.

IT WAS AMAZING!!! For anyone who is a Michael Jackson fan, I would recommend they see this movie. I went to this movie with my son and we really enjoyed every moment. You will be sitting in your seats singing the songs, moving to the beats and applauding after each rehearsal. Just to see him performing was wonderful. He was so hands-on and detailed oriented about his work yet still so humble and gentle. If he had lived, I believe this concert would have been one of the best he had ever done. It is such a great loss that he is gone but it was so nice to see him on the big screen. I am really thinking about going to see this again because I don't think I can wait for the DVD.

With all the greatness you see of his talent & genius, there are also some emotional aspects that did make me cry. It's very hard to accept the fact that he's gone. I wish he had the opportunity to really perform the This Is It concerts as they would no doubt be the greatest concert experience anyone could ever imagine. The sets were fantastic & very creative. I wish the movie could've been longer and we could've seen more but this will do, no disappointments here. He also shows his love & concern for the planet earth. I had been excited for This Is It for so long and I finally saw it and can say that I was definitely not let down. To see a 50yr old be able to move like that even though he was conserving his energy & not reaching his full potential was just... wow. During the whole movie I was attentive & mesmerized. For the first time I didn't talk or check my phone during a movie. Michael Jackson, the King, not just of Pop, the King, is truly unbelievable. His music: singing & dancing, & the glimpse we get into what kind of a person he really was is all AMAZING.

I was amazed at how this footage allowed us to see his creative genius at work...his humility, his interactions with the people on stage with him, his ability to make his wants understood. It made me wonder, did he ever get to turn 'off'...be someone other than the pentultimate entertainer that he was molded into? This movie gave me new respect for the man and his vision. It also brought to light how horrible he had to feel in order to take the amount and types of drugs he was taking and STILL be functional!

Michael Jackson's "This Is It" is very beautful in the sense that it features a beautiful man in the last months of his life and features the musical genius that he was. Watching it creates so many emotions; sad, happy, joyful, and pain all at the same time. The tragedy of this movie is the greatness the concerts were to be, but will never play out under any spotlight. As the credits started rolling and the song "This Is It" started playing, I couldn't stop myself from crying, both because the movie was over and this wonderful life had come to an end. Michael Jackson is truely the King Of Pop and noone will ever be able to steal that title from him.

The atmosphere was electric. Couldn't help tapping my toes and singing along. People were clapping. I loved it! How sad that the talent that was there for my whole life is gone. I am such a huge fan of MJJ, so the anticipation of seeing this movie was a highlight for me! Because I'm a fan, my 8 year old daughter is just as much of a fan of Michael' music and gifted talent. We enjoyed every minute of the movie! I found myself smiling, crying, laughing, tapping me feet to the music, and going over the dance moves in my head. I plan to buy the soundtrack and the dvd once it's on sale for my daughter to treasure.

Now I no longer feel cheated out of being able to see the Greatest Entertainer in action! To see him in his element was fantastic. Yes, to see the concert would have been amazing, but to see what it takes to create it was even better. He is such a humble and beautiful person. I feel like I lost my cousin and it will be hard for him to be forgotten because he continues to live in song!

Michael is a musical genius, an absolute gift from God. He is the greatest entertainer not just of our time but of ALL time!! The anointing that God placed on his life is unparalleled. The movie was wonderful. Truly lets you see Michael thrive in his element of music. It changed my opinion of him and brought me to a place of appreciation of his pure geniusness. It shows you how honest and pure Michael Jackson really was as a human being. It stays with you long after you have left the theatre. Wonderful.
