All I can say is WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Walked out of the Movie with so many emotions, Excited and sadness. The world missed out on I think would have put Mj back on the map. He is such an excellant performer/singer etc. I was dancing in my seat. I have been a long Mj fan since I was little dancing to the Jackson 5. Michael will always be the King of Pop. There will be no other.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this movie? Not much. I took my 13 year old daughter who is just now beginning to see why I have always loved Michael Jackson so much even when I was made fun of for doing so. He is unbelieveble. Talented. Caring. Giving. Loving. This movie moved me to tears. He is one of the few, no make that the only, performer I will truly miss in this world. He had something positive to give. And even after his death, this movie brings it and says it all. THIS IS IT. He rocks!!

I loved the movie from the beginning. Throughout the entire movie, I could not take my eyes away. Micheal Jackson was such a beautiful artist. The world has lost a person that can never be replaced. Please encourage others to see the movie. People should put all of their negativity away and watch Michael perform like they would admire a beautiful peace of art like a portrait or sculpture. I really enjoyed seeing the movie and was glad it was put together. One can only imagine that this concert would've been awesome. I especially liked the remake of Thriller with the 3D effects. At the same time though as I thought about this, I felt sad and did get a bit teary eyed that Michael's life ended the way it did. I just wish that someone would've intervened a long time ago, and got him the help he really needed even if it meant not performing for a while. He was such a genuine,giving, and talented individual. This is It should not have been literally it for him, and he was definitely gone too soon. Hope this comes out on DVD.

It was great seeing Michael behind the scenes creating the magic we see on stage. He was always nice to his staff when telling them what he wanted. He smacks his gum in the movie, by the way. It was nice to see him do something so human an imperfect. I wish he could've at least did one show before he died. It was a great film.

I had no idea how much energy and hard work went into putting on a concert. I'm amazed that Michael Jackson planned to do 50 shows in a row! His preparations for the concerts were maticulous. His treatment of his crew was caring and concerned. It was obvious that all the people who worked for him personally cared for him and admired his talent. The movie moved quickly and was beautifully coreographed. I'd recommend it to anyone who is interested in knowing more about this gifted man.

I thought I would cry through the entire movie so I brought plenty of tissue. Not one tear was shed because they focused on his life and his talent and not a word was mentioned of his death. I was sad when I left the theater, but I've been sad since the day he died. I felt for all of the fans that were hired to be in his show. What elated joy they had to simply audition for him let alone be selected to perform with him. I can only imagine what they experienced when he passed. My heart truly goes out to all of the cast. I hope this goes on sale soon. Can't wait to have it in my library.

I took my daughter to see this movie thinking that she needed to see this..just like any other icon in history...It didnt take long for me to realize that EVERYONE needs to see This is it! I was fully prepared to see him perform his songs, and smile as it brought back memories, but I was not prepared to be blown away by his grace and ability to inspire. I might be a little biased as I have been a fan since the very beginning of his fame w/his brothers...however, this docu is really, really good. It shows him in the process of preparing for what would have been one of his BEST concerts! We have always seen the outcome, but here we see the workings of how it's done. He was involved in everything, and he was so passionate about it. He was so humble and kind to all of his employees. If you are an MJ fan you must see this. For some there was closure. For me the grieving has begun all over again, but I will see it at least three more times before it leaves theatres.

Like the title indicates, It was GREAT to see Michael again!!!! Just to catch a glimpse into his creative genius was phenomenal, his musical ear was amazing. This movie for me was some sort of closure. The final Hoorah sort of. It was really like revisiting a really good friend. I LOVE Michaels music and even though he wasnt fully performing I STILL dont know how it was SO quiet in the theatre, because as soon as the band would start up I wanted to hop up and dance! GREAT movie for true MIchael Jackson fans, that just want to see him one last time!!

"This Is It" was everything i expected it to be. I was not one bit dissapointed. It made you see more of what kind of a person Michael Jackson was; all the things he expected, what he wanted for his fans. In this movie you see him play almost every role; actor, singer, director, camera man, choreagraupher, you name it. His dancers and producers - EVERYONE on set had so much respect for the man they did everything he would say. And for "This Is It" being his 1st performance in many years and his last performance in London, it was PERFECT! He remade alot of his music videos for many popular songs such as "Thriller" and "Smooth Criminal". Im a HUGE Michael Jackson fan and i would highly recommend this movie to everyone.

This movie was the best film I have ever seen in my life. Coming from a big movie buff that is saying alot. Michael Jackson is the best entertainer of all time. I seen MJ in Concert in 1988, and this movie really brought back everything I seen that year but oh so much more. Watching Michael's genius at work was truly a gift to his fans. He was a kind gentle caring soul, yet firm in how he wanted his music conveyed to his "audience" (fans). This man knew what he wanted, and how he wanted it to sound. His tour would have been amazing. His song choices...the dancers...wow! The best movie/concert event I've ever seen. If Michael Jackson would have lived to go on tour with "This Is It" this concert would have been the best in history. Such a talented, amazing person and a shame his life was cut so short.

What could have been another teary-eyed replication of the overlong television coverage of his death was instead a moving tribute to what might have been. Though Michael showed his age and was thin as a rail, he still showed enough of the old magic to make this film a must-see for anyone with even half an ear for his music and his influence on a whole generation of singers and dancers. I never realized until I saw this film just how much of a perfectionist he was, how much he was in command of every choreographed move, how every note had to be timed exactly as he heard it. I was never before much of a Michael Jackson fan, probably because of his eccentric lifestyle. But I’m now a fan of the singer/dancer/performer I saw today.

I thorougly enjoyed the movie! While it was bittersweet, I am so glad I went to see it! I've been a fan of MJ since the days of the Jackson Five. Getting a glimpse of his process in developing his show is incredible. Even though it was apparent and understandable that he was holding back, it was also clear he still has "it".

If you're expecting a movie of a full dress rehearsal, you won't find it here. If you just want to see two hours of practice on the big screen, then you will probably have fun. Don't get me wrong, you could tell that the concert was going to be amazing with all of the music, video, and dancing but the "movie" just doesn't streamline it for you. They should have released the practice on DVD first and released a full dress rehearsal in the theaters.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I am so thankful that they captured this footage of Michael Jackson. I knew I would love the movie because I love him, but it was even better than I expected. Can't wait to see it again!!

Extremely interesting and fascinating to watch. Glad to see something that reveals the artist at work. He was involved in every aspect of the upcoming concert and this movie shows MJ had an eye, and ear, for detail. In addition to all that, the music put it over the top!
This movie must win an Oscar for best documentary.
