This was an awesome experience. I never had the pleasure to see Michael Jackson perform live and after seeing this documentory I have an even deeper appreciation for his talent. The show would have been out of this world and all the work that goes into putting a show like this together is remarkable. I did not want the movie to end and will cherish it forever. I want to see it again or at least get the DVD when it comes out. As a long time fan I listened to his music and watched his videos, but this movie really shows the audience who MIchael was as a person. He loved people and I like how he wanted to give everyone in the group( dancers, singers and musician) their moment to shine.

This movie was absolutely fantastic!!! I have been a huge MJ fan since I was about 3 yrs. old and I don't think they could have did a better job in capturing the "essence" of Michael and how much of a wonderful, sweet, compassionate, caring person he was, not to mention how involved and how much of a perfectionist he was about his work. His performance was strong and pure perfection!! He was and will always be the undisputed greatest entertainer that ever lived!!!! This world was blessed to have had such a loving, caring, wonderful human being like MJ in it. He will live in my heart forever and will be deeply missed :-(

I must say that to see MJ this raw, up close and personal was just amazing. He truly was a gifted and creative individual. With a heart the size of the world and talent to match, he deserved the status that he will always have in my heart. At 50 yrs of age, he still had, if not more, the energy he's always had. This gave you just a small glimpse of what Michael's tour would have been like. Fantastic! He was such a perfectionist and this made him a great musician and entertainer. This was a rare look at Michael that showed his true self, he did not know that this would be shown to millions of people, so he was himself. He showed respect to his crew when he wanted something done his way, it was done with L-o-v-e!! It is so hard to believe that he is gone, gone too soon! God bless you, Michael.

Simply an amazing performance from MJ. The man is rediculously talented - and it shows in this movie. His moves, his swagger - everything that made him a legend was there. The man hasnt lost a step and even with his back up dancers going full tilt and MJ just giving 75% - he still looked better, smoother and more amazing than they did.

Before I saw the movie I felt that this was Jackson's return. He is a "performer" After seeing the movie, I couldn't help but get depressed. He was so healthy looking in the movie. I would have easily spent a thousand for one ticket to see him live. The visuals that they had planned. The stage set up. The backup dancers were amazing. The musicians were incredible (esp the female guitarist) This was his come back, no doubt!

The film just proved what I believed all along Michael is the best performer singer humanitarian to every live. I am so grateful to have lived my life during the same error as Michael. I agree when they say the world was not ready for him. I hope if people take anything away from Michael's Legacy as he says in this film, (Take care of this earth and our children). I believe the message Michael has always tried to send to his fans is that it begins with you yourself. So the next time you start to yell or go to discipline your child remember what affect it will have in the years to come with that child.

Few people have the opportunity to see brilliance;fewer still to recognize it. I am grateful that Jackson estate has afforded us a glimpse of film meant for his private collection.For in this,we see MJ in his element, working, collaborating, mastering, what can only be termed a “masterpiece”. It’d be hard for anyone to walk away not knowing that this show had pushed barriers:sound, dance, technology, theatrical experience&more. The saddened realization again of loss, resonated in a subtle, if not somber way with me and all in the audience.To be a voyeur & see a man of such greatness, in an unscripted performance, was frankly a gift. I was amazed at MJ’s humility. A soft spoken man who preached love always, frankly had his “act” together.

I would reccommend this movie wholeheartedly. I would suggest it to those that did not know much about MJ to watch it because you would be so moved to find about this man that had a heart of gold. If you were not moved to do somethng to better this world or become a better person then you missed the whole point of this wonderful (MAN) concert that was to be. I learned a few things about MJ as well....he had an awesome sense of humor and was incredibly sexy. YES, I said it...MJ's shyness and sweetness was incredibly sexy!!! I always knew that Michael Jackson was amazing at his craft, but this movie allows you to see the amazing genius that he was! I was in awe from beginning to end and I couldn't take my eyes off of him. I recommend everyone sees it but especially the MJ haters out there because I think this movie will change the way you feel about him. While the movie reminds you that he is gone and that we lost an absoutely amazing person, I did not walk away sad. The Best. I saw The Jackson 5 at the Apollo Theater as a child. I screamed so much I could hardly talk. Watching "This Is It "was bitter sweet. No more MJ concerts but I dreamed how I would have left the concert still at 55 years of age unable to speak after a MJ performance. There will only be one MJ and many followers. I found myself constantly smiling while watching the film. Smiles and chuckles are contagious as we see Jackson say he knows "exactly what you meant" to his musical director who is intent on putting more "booty" on one of Jackson's funky tracks.
He sings with power and sincerity. His vocals emotes joy, sensuality and soul absolutely and arguably better than he did back in the day.
His voice sounds richer, purer.
The downside to the film is that we will never see the fruition of Jackson's vision for his London shows. The sadness of it all is that all we see of Jackson is all we're left with and This Is It.

Oh man, this movie! MJ is just amazing, it was so beautiful. So awesome to hear him sing, just on point. At times making me cry not because I am sad but because it was so beautiful! I had lots of smiles and tears but bittersweet ones. This man will forever be in my heart and I will still never fully believe he is gone. What a true gem he is to us all! I am so glad this documentary was released. Given all the bad press surrounding Michael's life, and his death, it felt like this movie gave him a chance to speak for himself. Here we see the genuine kindness and the overwhelming talent this man had. It gave us a chance to focus on the genius and not the demons (whatever they may have been and who are we to say). This is a well done, can't take your eyes off the screen kind of a movie and will appeal to everyone regardless of age.

My daughter and I went to see the movie together and we laughed, cried and danced in our seats the entire time. The best ever "concert" film. Michael's voice and dance moves were impeccable: choreography, cinematography and rehearsal clips were outstanding. My daughter went back yesterday to see it and I plan on going again tonight. I found myself absolutely captivated from beginning to end. Ever since I was a child and received the Jacsons' Christmas album for a Christmas gift, I have been a fan of Michael Jackson. His death rocked me as if it were a family member that died. I am so thankful that this movie was gifted to us.

As soon as the movie began I had tears rolling down my face until the end of the movie. This was anexcellent, in depth and up close view of the REAL Michael Jackson. I recommend this movie to everyone of all ages.

All this movie did was make me cry because of the wonderful concert no one will ever get to see. I could tell that show was going to be amazing, and Michael was an amazing performer no matter what you thought of his personal life. I think that's what the movie was implying. No matter what you thought of his personal life, he was a truly one-of-a-kind artist and the music world will miss him dearly. There just isn't anyone like him.

I was very surprised that there were under 25 people in the theater - I thought it was fantastic and gave the real picture of Michael and his extreme talent . He is genius in his ideas and performance. He hears his music in a way we can't even imagine. I think it would have been the concert of all concerts.

This Is It was awesome! I would recommend it to anyone, Michael Jackson fan or not. It was like you were at the rehersals with them. It showed the "raw" side of Michael. You feel like you knew him personally. It was just amazing watching him dance. He definetly didn't move like he was 50. He looked healthy and happy. Its a great way to see him doing what he loved. They did an excellent job putting it together as a film. If it ever comes out on DVD, I am definetly getting it! RIP MJ you will be missed!
