This is it is a wonderful docu-concert showcasing how good a showman Michael Jackson was and was going to be for his London tour. From this footage you can see that this was going to be a GREAT concert and it made me sad (again) that we have lost one of our best male performers of the last century.

This was a wonderful movie. MJ danced great, he sang great, He knew all his cue's, I have seen a lot of concerts in my time and he ran circles around every other act I have seen, and this is just rehearsal footage, I have no doubt in my mind, this would have been a concert people would have talked about for decades.
There is not much narratives in the movie, expect when MJ talks about Global Warning at the end of earth song, and also how he likes Air hostess doing the safety briefings lol

Awesome isn't a big enough word to describe what this film brought across to my spirit. Who Michael is came across brilliantly; not through production techniques, but rather through his enduring and loving spirit.
Though gone from the human life, he continues to show that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. As I watched the movie, from start to finish, I enjoyed learning and feeling what Michael brought to this human experience.
As a 60 year old white male who watched FOX news and bought into it, I admit I was wrong about Michael. His story is one all of us can continue to learn about and benefit from.

The movie that's a must see for 2009. I was amazed and yet sadden that the very concert that MJ and the vision that he was trying to bring will never fully come to light. This movie gave us just glimpse of a man that was compassionate and kind to everyone that he met. Many of the people that he worked with and was surrounded by were moved and inspired by his presents. The raw footage combined with the his narrative made this such a compelling film you can't help feel the message of love and humanity that he wanted to share with everyone though his music. To like just one song by him and not see this movie at least once seems just wrong. I know for sure I will see it again.

Don't miss this even if you are a casual fan of his music. The dance sequences for Thriller and Smooth Criminal alone will make you glad you went. The scenes where they showed the back up dancers watching MJ rehearse proved that he cast a spell over everyone.
Seeing MJ at the top of his game and so obviously prepared for the upcoming London shows reaffirm what a tragic loss the world has suffered with his passing. He truely was the king of pop.

"This is It" was great! I have seen it three times already and plan to see it again. I love seeing Michael being Michael, which is something we don't see often. His moves and his voice were amazing. For sure, during the rehearsals that were shown in this movie, Michael still had it! The right dancers were chosen for "This is It". They are all phenomenal; and the guitarists, both of them, wow!! This movie rehearsal gets 5 stars from me.

What an awesome thing, they did for the fans! I have loved MJ my whole life, husband was not thrilled to go see this, but after the movie, he looked at me and said it definately changed my attitude about MJ for the better. What a guy he said, he is one of the most caring people! You can tell he is real, this movie was created from rehersals, so he did not know this was going to be played to the world for him to put on a different personia to show face. So, if I can turn one person around, imagine what the world will think after they see it! I loved it so much, I am going again, taking my Mom & friends next week before it ends!

I took my 11 year old son to see this movie because us his newly found infatuation of MJ since his passing. I have always adored and loved MJ. It is so unfortunate that these shows will never occur. What is even more evident after watching this movie is the untimely, unneccessary, incomprehensible circumstances surrounding his death. This movie depicts a warm, kind, and tender soul. It is almost unbelievable how gentle his nature was In his interactions with the crew, dancers, musicians, and those around him as he was preparing for this massive event. This movie gives us an opportunity to see him truly at work, unlike anything before. Thank God someone had the idea to capture this footage. May MJ rest in peace!

I'm not exactly a MJ fan, but I took my wife because she is a fan. After seeing this footage, I had to say; love him or hate him, he was truly a master at his craft. This movie is the perfect fit for a Michael Jackson fan, because it has a display of many of his hits that are sung and gone over in detail. However I think despite I'm sure edited moments, you get to peer into what a talented musician and yet complete whack job MJ was during this time in his life. This IS IT was far beyond my expectations. I sat and watched with a smile on my face. michael simply makes us HAPPY. It was all video footage taken during proformance practices and it gives us a close look at how Michael interacts and works with people. He is kind, respectful, gentle and so gifted. The movie allows us to witness one of America's greatest entertainers evolution, taking a vision and idea to a reality. Unfortunately MJ's life was cut short so we can never see what the end result would have been but the little exposure we got in the movie to the process and what was to come left you wanting so much more. For those of us who grew up with MJ it left us sad for what was and for those who have newly discovered Michael it left them asking what could have been. What a loss for all of us.

I truly enjoyed this movie! I felt like I was being shown a secret world-- Jackson , while a gentle soul, also showed he was in control from the music, to the dancers to stage production; this was truly his baby-he was in charge. Many of the rehersal performances gave me goose bumps! Incredible!!

Oh man this was going to be a great concert, if MJ would've made it. He was so into it! He still had the voice and the moves! I recomend this documentary to everybody even if your not a fan.

I am so glad I seen this wonderful show. Kenny Ortega kudo's to you! Michael would be proud. It was great to see Michael and what he was so very good at. This would of been a fabulous concert to see live! Bless you Michael and hope you have peace that you most deserve.

This movie finally let's us get to see Michael as he really was--a real person. Michael was kind, generous, sweet, charismatic, energetic, talented, gracious, polite, and God fearing. He was not the freak the MEDIA portrayed. Go see this movie to honor his memory.
