I knew that the music and dancing would be good but watching Michael interact with the musicians and dancers proved that the man had amazing talent! He was aware of everything around him and knew what he needed and wanted. And was able to get it without insulting anyone or playing to his being a superstar

LOVED IT !!!!! Had to see it twice. Went to the midnight showing Tues had a BLAST singing and dancing in the theater, the whole place applauded at the end. It was GREAT to see Michael in good spirits doing what he does BEST.

As a Michael Jackson fan I knew I would enjoy this documentary, but honestly I it surpassed any of my expectations. This documentary gives you an inside view into the genius that was Michael. He was part of every single aspect of the creation of THIS IS IT. I was simply amazed by how much energy he had and of course his VOICE. He sounded the same live as he did on his cds. This documentary truly highlights Michael's singing, dancing, and overall musical talents. After watching This Is It I knew that his concert would have been the GREATEST show ever. I mean they had technology created just for Michael. This Is It would have been something to remember. Truly Amazing and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. You’re the Best Ever Mike.

I was as anxious for the to begin as I'd be if it were an actual MJ live concert. The movie is a testiment and evidence of what could have been one of if not the most fantastic concert and performances to date. The visual and sound EFX, the choreograhy, the images, sound traxs, the imagination and creativity, ALL were phenominal and yet it was merely rehearsals. If only Michael had performed and left us with just one recorded concert. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN MAGNIFICENT, becasue THIS IS IT, was all that and more.

Took my mother-in-law to see this as she is a HUGE MJ fan. Neither of us was disappointed. Although he is thin, he seems in command of his moves. Yes, he was an eccentric and some of that is evident in some of the comments he makes during the documentary.
All in all we knew we were watching the "King of Pop" performing some of his signature dance moves to some of his smash hits. Just watch his dancers cheer him on, clearly in awe of his dancing skills...they're practically taking notes.
The movie was good fun and a chance to see what we will miss in real life. And YES, I would have gone to one of his shows!

My daughter and I enjoyed the movie, she wanted to be there before the theater opened that's how excited she was. It was worth every moment waiting! This was the best way for her to say "good bye", she never got to see his concerts but this was close. We cried, laughed and sang...it was an experience WE will never forget. As a tribute to him, she went dressed as Michael Jackson. It was great!!!

Wasn't a die-hard" MJ fan, but was curious ...after seeing this movie, all I can say about the death of Michael JAckson is "what a loss." Any fan of Michael Jackson should see this great movie!!!! It shows his vast talent to the world, and what a phenominal concert it would have been! This showed the inside of Michael and proves that he was a genuinely nice, caring person. The respect he gave to everyone in the band and on the crew is very hard to find these days. I feel sorry for all the dancers, band members and crew that were looking forward to 50 nights that would change their lives forever. A fantastic movie and it moved me to tears several times

This was the tour that was to be! Note that this is strictly the tour prep w/ his well known work---no new mat'l/no historical memories. But quite an interesting insight into how talented Michael was. He was so involved in producing his show. This was an experience. I am 58 year old white male.....took my kids and all their friends and a few of mine. We all loved it! I can hardly wait to buy it to have at home and see it again. i was hesitant about seeing this movie but when i saw it i loved it. i look at mj now as a different person of who i thought he was before. he was a loving person and so good to all the people he worked with. hard to believe he is gone now. what an amazing talent this guy had.

I think Bittersweet is the operating word here. Bittersweet for us the fans who don't get to see more of him, but that got to live through his career from beginning to end. Bittersweet for the crew working with him that won't be able to see the project through the end, but that got the privilege of being with him personally and actually dancing and singing with him. I think watching this movie is like having some closure. Well done!

Awesome movie!! This movie just showed again the type of person Michael really was.....and always will be in my heart. Michael was always a caring and giving person and treated people with love and kindness. I hate that we lost him so soon. He will never be forgotten!!

I have to say -- this is one of the few movies I've seen in the last few months that is well worth the ticket price! Watching this "inside scoop" version about the making of such a creative, unique concert by such talented people... is very moving and awe inspiring. On the other hand, I left feeling sad -- sad that this creative genius lived such a weird and short life, and really bad for all of those other dancers, singers, musicians, crew, etc. who worked so hard only to loose the opportunity to go on tour. I guess we can all see them forever via this movie... so, no matter what you think of MJ... you'll be blown away by this concert. GO SEE THIS!
