I hate that this movie is not showing in the Fort Wort area... i am not driving to Dallas to see this movie.... but i have heard that this is a great movie to see.. i cannot waite to see this movie at the movie tavern.

The contrived ending of "Chloe,'" which tries to wrap up this film too quickly, kills the momentum of what should and could have been a much better movie. That said, Julianne Moore, Liam Neeson and Amanda Seyfried all turn in fine performances which sustain this somewhat sordid drama throughout most of the proceedings. As one previous reviewer mentioned, the plot of "Chloe" has been done before and with better results. Julianne Moore suspects that her husband (Liam Neeson) is cheating on her and enlists the aid of Chloe (Amanda Seyfried), a young attactive prostitute, to find out the awful truth. Ms. Moore figures that if her husband falls for Chloe, he's guilty as sin. What she doesn't suspect is that Chloe has a way of stretching the truth and only adds more fuel on the fire to an already complicated and dangerous situation. Unfortunately, the resulting mess is all cleaned up in a matter of seconds as poor Chloe literally and figuratively gets thrown out the window. And she doesn't land on her feet.

This is a thinking persons movie. Lots of twists and turns in the plot. Acting was absolutely brilliant from Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore. Amanda Seyfried was a little weak in the title role. The plot was fascinating and it was worth going to see this movie to experience, in and of itself. Very dramatic with lots of suspense. I was on the edge of my seat throughout. The directing (Atom Egoyan) was supurb! One of the best movies I've seen in several years. I've already pre-ordered the DVD!

The characters were manipulated.. Thus the ultimate story line was unbelievable and the ending, avoiding a probable tragedy, was preposterous. Good nude scenes and sex talk. Seyfried's body was worth one star by itself. The acting was excellent.

movie was quite predictable and the best thing about the movie was the scenes of Toronto's landscape. The characters were not believable and the porn scenesof Ms Moore made the movie and the characters seem "cheap." What a waste of money to see Liam Nelson...I will chalk it up to tragedy as to why he participated in such a boring and stupid film

The set location was the best thing about this movie.It was filmed in Toronto, Canada unfortunately about the time of Liam Neeson's wife's death in a skiing accident. As another reviewer said, the plot has been done before with a better script. However, on the plus side, Ms. Moore's character enters an erotic world that I never saw her in before. She was quite good as the "love starved" wife of a man who was too busy too notice as each partner grew more into their professional lives and less into their personal ones. The negative effect played off mostly on the son who witnessed the deterioration of a marriage. Chloe was a catalyst between this family and, unfortunately, never really believable in her role. This could have been a better movie if the pace were picked up as it moveds along too slowly towards a disappointing ending.

The film overall was good. Acting very good. The story, while old had a different twist, but was too predictable. The sensual scenes never reached the top. The action lacked the intensity of an earlier film "Fatal Attraction" which set the bar for unfaithfulness and the resulting emotions. That is why I use the title "Almost Made It".
