I am a grandmother that took her 15 and 13 year old grandchildren to see this movie. One is a girl and the other a boy and they both loved it. I also loved it. It was not a movie that you had to concentrate on or try to figure out what was going on. It was just a light hearted movie with no bad language, sex or violence. We all liked it.

The story line is a bit slow but it eventually catches up and the talking dog animation and overall story line is very cute. It has alot of great humor, sad parts, little action, and lot of good laughs. I took my 17 year old niece, and 13 year old daughter and they both loved it, There was a wide range group from 2 years to 65 year olds it is a great family movie for any age. take the kids stay in the cool and have a good laugh.

Ok, jokes were cute, animation was pretty good but this movie is better for kids under ten. I was kind of like Owen Wilson as a teenage dog, really?! I'm a teen and that was kinda weird for me. : ) To tell you the truth I saw mostly little kids in the theater and they honestly LOVED the movie. I just wanted to see if they could pull the movie off and I have to say, they did for the younger kids. AS for me, I enjoyed how to train your dragon more which I think was actually geared for teens and preteens. Cute movie, great!!

I've seen quite a few kids movies that are downright torture for the adults. We found this movie to me pretty good for all!!!!! The kids loved it ( 5 & 7 yr old girls), and the Mom's that went with us all agreed: Cute laughs, good message, didn't even think about dozing during the movie!

This was one of the best family movies I have seen in a long time. My 4 1/2 year old granddaughter laughed louder than I have ever heard her laugh. My daughter wanted to take some friends to see "Marmaduke" instead of having a party for her 7th birthday. 8 kids and 3 adults all had a great time. I thought the voices were well done, and the choice of actors matched to their animal was great, including Keifer Sutherland and Sam Elliot.

A dog in charge of his family - something many of us can identify with. Saw lots of parents and kids there, the story had positive messages for both groups. Lots of laughs throughout. The surfboard sequence was amazing. Lots of CGI but Marmaduke really did get on a surfboard and surf. I'm looking forward to a DVD, will want to watch it again.
