Overall the movie is neat with the screenplay direction, action and cinematography. But the historical plot is not really thick and didn't have enough substance to justify the budget, effort and hype. Charan was good in romantic hero role but not ferocious enough for the character of great warrior. At least, director should have used some deeper voice (chiranjeevi) for the warrior role. Also, the literature department of the movie didn't care for basic telugu usage of words such as (bayam in place of bhayam) even in the main character's role.

Hats off to Rajamouli and his team for a splendid job. Hardwork by each team member finally paid off with a beautiful movie. Watch in a good theatre...the movie is worth it. Stay away from Edison theatre. You wouldnt appreciate the beauty of the movie. Have no expectations when you walk in and just enjoy the movie. Heroiene was very beautifully shown. Ram was very good but can still improve his facial expressions.Choreography was nice. This movie has raised the bar for telugu movies. Thanks again Rajamouli and team. A waffer thin story presented very well by all the departments of Film Carts. Special appreciation to the Hero Mr. Charan, Director Mr. Raja Mouli, Actress Kajal Agarawal, Music, Cinematography, Graphics, what not all the departments have worked hard and made a good film with a whopping budget. We havent seen this extragavant movie till now in Telugu. Though this movie looks above avg for people who watch many Hollywood movies, this is a great feat to achieve in terms of telugu cinema. There is no doubt this is a great movie. However, still there is a lot of scope for improvement in first half, and also could've been more love sequences between Ram and Kajol in flashback thread.
The best ever scene is killing 100 people episode is technically sound and heart touching.
Theater in EDISON is the worst, I will never go to EDISON theatre.

It is a shame that I had to watch a good movie in such a lousy theater. Although the movie could have been done better overall was good. I have only complaints with the theater . Our theaters in india are much much better than the one in edison. Poora bekar ki theater, bugs, no air, no proper sound and exubarent ticket price. NOT WORTH WATCHING IN THE EDISION THEATER.

Excellent Movie... The flash back scenes are taken in a highnote. Though the story is simple the way it shown in the screen is marvelous. Hero is apt to this movie.

One of the most awesome and spellbinding movies ever seen on telugu screen. Does not have any dialogues related to forefathers or "Vamsam", not factionism.
