I took my grandson's to see the movie, it is our outing together. Both were mesmerized through the whole movie (ages 6 and 10). After the movie ended they told me they wanted to buy the video when it came out. One of the servers at Movie Tavern Centeral said they did not expect to have such a large crowd for the third weekend and was surprised at the large turn out. Well worth seeing with the little ones and is a great movie to repeat seeing.

My 7 year old loved this movie. The 3D experience was fun, and the message it sends to kids to always go for your dreams was wonderful. I thought it was a great movie. I loved the 3D effects. I really thought it was well done and had a great message for kids. The fact that Parents aren't always able to tell their children what they want to say in the way the children can understand them. It was important that The father said something about that so kids think about it later. It had a strong Message for kids to keep trying even when they don't succeed. My Daughter enjoyed it as well. We, like others have read the book many times. My 6 & 4 year old absolutely loved it, the 3D adds an extra "cool factor" that the kids loved. It does get a little bit dark & scary during the climax scene and my 3 year old got a bit freaked out, but she probably shouldn't have been there anyway.
As others have said, you can take the whole family, Mom and Dad enjoyed it too.

We took our young son (6 y.o.) to see this movie and he loved it! Especially as this was his first 3D movie and having glasses to wear was cool for him. The story line is very funny as are all the characters. The 3D is, I feel, not as good as true 3D, but it's still shows darn good. My son did start to cry towards the end, but realized that it was going to turn out good. I would highly recommend this movie to everyone.
