This was a great, funny, story about love. It had a great cast of characters. Would my husband love it? Definitely not but women will think it is very heartwarming. It was predictable but it did have a twist at the end that I never saw coming. I would see it again.

The movie was just ok, I definitely wish that I would have waited until it came out on video before watching it, there are a lot more movies I would've rather seen. i had not realized this was made by the director of pretty woman....which totally makes sense now....but i found it to be a laugh out loud comedy. as another reviewer pointed out, it was nice to see a "good" movie for a change that wasn't crude or sad. good twists and turns that kept you wanting to know what was going to happen throughout....i don't think it was as predictable as some have said. overall, i enjoyed it.

So let me give you my re-enactment of the producer on the first day of filming: "All-star cast? Check. Seasoned director that has given us such gems as 'Pretty Woman' and 'A League of Their Own'? Check. Funny, romantic script? Oops! We forgot to have some write one. Quick - grab that first-year community college film student making the coffee and have him jot down something on the back of this napkin." I honestly don't know how they got this many stars to sign on for this bland, pointless, overcrowded mess. Two theories: 1) The actors dug the concept and agreed to do it before seeing a script. 2) They all dared each other to be in a really bad movie.

To quote former Arizona Cardinal coach Dennis Green, this movie was what we thought it was!! Very predictable and you will know almost every outcome 30 minutes into the film; however, it was a decent date movie that you do not walk away from either completely disgusted or satisfied. My wife and I would have rather seen Shutter Island if it came out one weekend earlier. Classic case of beefing up a cast to sell a film without much substance.

Even after reading the reviews of Valentine's Day - which trended towards the negative to say the least, it was actually quite an enjoyable movie. Everyone seemed to have a good time playing their roles, and the subtle twists even with the multiple story lines kept us wanting to see how things would turn out.
Ashton Kutcher, whom I normally detest, was very likable, as were Anne Hathaway, Topher Grace and Hector Elizondo. I won't give away the scene stealer of the movie.
It didn't feel like the running time was too much or too short - just enough to come away pleased with a good show.

Ashton is too sappy with George Lopez and the rest is too much going on..can determine the ending about 30 minutes into the movie.. The Taylors are completely horrible. The Topher Grace/Anne Hathoway story is the best. Jessica Biel looks great, and they turned Eric Dane and Bradley Cooper gay..just terrible. All in all, somewhat comical, but not good enough for the price to go to the movies.

What a great movie to see with the family (the youngest being 12) on Valentine's Day weekend. Lots of great stars, lots of laughs and (even from a guy's prospective!) quite a few teary eye parts too! We all had a great time seeing this one... including my 15 year old son who we almost had to twist his arm to go see it... even HE admitted it was a great movie and got a lot of laughs out of it. I'd definitely recommend this to everyone.

About 30 minutes into the movie, I turned to my husband and told him I was ready to go if he was. We ended up sticking it out, but it was really, really bad. I don't know how they got so many big-name actors to play such underdeveloped, stereotypical characters with no substance or depth. It wasn't believable or even very romantic. The only character I liked was Julia Roberts.

Garry Marshall always does a great job directing and interpreting a script. This all star cast helped to make the movie light and entertaining. I laughed out loud at a couple of things.
Don't over analyze this one. If you look at it too closely, you will notice that the script lacked a little bit in connecting the dots, jumped around a bit, and sometimes didn't make sense.
If anyone else directed this movie, or if it didn't have the all star cast, it may not have made it past one week in the theatres.
Girls take your friends and not your boyfriend or husband to this one.

I almost didn't go because of the reviews I read...don't let that stop you. There is a lot to follow because of the huge cast, but that is the only negative I have. It doesn't matter if you're in a relationship, broken-hearted, or happy as a clam, you'll find someone to identify with in this movie. It was actually cool seeing so many great actors in one movie. p.s. and especially don't miss this if you're from Indiana :)

The reviews I read prior to seeing this movie made it sound like a waste of time. It was actually pretty cute and an enjoyable way to pass a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon! The all star cast makes it extra interesting -- we were counting all of the crossover actors from The Princess Diaries! It is certainly not deep and there is no life lesson to be had, but it is a fun "chick flick"!
