My children loved it specially the little ones. It could be a caveman story but its the story of every modern family too. Love the landscapes and the ending was also perfect.

Such a great family movie! Teaches a few lessons in life with a comedy twist. Absolutely adorable movie! Will be keeping my eye out for the DVD to come out.

A good movie to see with a 4 y/o or older. Interesting but not too scary. In the end it does portray fathers and fatherhood in a very positive light. The father character was well played by Nick Cage who did a great job of communicating the anxiety fatherhood brings in spite of the brutish strong exterior of the father. A good family movie.

I really enjoyed the "real life like" struggle between a father and his teenage daughter, who is looking for independence. The struggles are intensified by the inclusion of them dealing with "continental drift ect.". That provided a great opportunity to open up discussions about history and how the earth was formed, no matter what you believe. I really enjoyed the movie and so did my 9 year old son.

This movie was one of the funniest movies we had watched in quite a while. It was fun watching Eep's father, Grug, struggle to keep his cool as his daughter, Eep, acted like any typically rebellious teen will. Then along comes Guy: cute, smart, and above all, single. And he thought he had problems before??? Add "the end" (as Guy tells it) to a sudden need to relocate and now he really has a headache.
As you might imagine, this will be a fast paced movie as our reluctant adventurers deal with the splitting of the continents, wildlife they are very unfamiliar with, the lack of sufficient lodgings, a budding teenage romance and a mother-in-law that just won't die. Did I mention that Eep thinks Guy is cute? and available? and he can make fire?
A final warning: this movie will leave you rolling on the floor and laughing out loud. You have been warned!

I took my 13, 11 and 4 year old to this movie, hoping for something appropriate for everyone. I admit I didn't expect much but was SO surprised I really, really enjoyed it! It was very funny, the animation was great, the characters were likable and I will definitely be purchasing this on DVD!

I took my 9 year old son to see this movie today not knowing i was going to enjoy it as much as he did. It was an awesome movie from beginning to end. Definitely give it a two thumbs up !! Must see.
