The movie is hilarious and will induce side-splitting laughter. Yet beyond that the movie is much more. It is so much different from any movie out there.This is a movie with truth, honesty, and a sense of realism that is lacking from any other comedy. At no point during this movie will you ever have to suspend disbelief to be able to continue watching the movie. There are no "because it's a movie," moments at all. There are situations, interactions and emotions that are real and people can relate to; things they've gone through in real life. The movie is lacking in slapstick highjinks and shenanigans. This is a good thing. It's new, different and refreshing; it's a relief for a movie to come at you with the real. GO WATCH THIS MOVIE!

The movie was really funny and all, it just didn't feel like a movie. None of the characters were really developed, and the acting was pretty subpar. You should go to this movie if you want to laugh, and expect nothing more than that. It is funny, but that's about all it has going for it.

It’s been a while since I have laughed so hard and at a few points, I just wanted it to stop so I could catch my breath and get my stomach to stop hurting. The movie obviously couldn’t cover as many stories as the book, but it stayed true to form and was pretty much exactly as you would picture the stories in your head.

I read the book IHTSBIH prior to seeing the movie. As most people know, the book is almost always better than the movie. I thought there was no way that the movie would stack up to the book...to put it frankly, I was wrong. This movie was downright hilarious! I recommend anyone even remotely considering this movie to get up off your computer and see it. I guarantee you'll cry laughing at least once in this movie and will laugh uncontrollably another 12 times, at least. Great movie, go see it!

Having read the book and being a huge fan of Tucker Max, I was slightly disappointed with the movie. It started out great, the first scene.....unforgettable. The first half of the movie was everything I could have hoped for, the dialogue was hilarious, the actors portrayed the stories and characters from the book with comedic execution. I was hoping the momentum was kept up throughout the whole movie but it made a turn into a romantic comedy. It slowed down, the love story between Drew and the stripper was a bore. Overall I am glad I experienced it and still respect his work but I would have wanted a bit more of the raw and offensive nature of the book.

Do you remember Porky's? How about American Graffiti? This movie shares what those movies had to offer. Authenticity. IHTSBIH does not beg you to suspend belief and it puts you in the middle of the action from the get go. Tucker Max gets it. This movie is a laugh a second roar through debauchery. Matt Czuchry pulls it off as Tucker, but the real scene stealer is the abrasive Drew, played by Jesse Bradford. Those of you who have read the book will recognize many of the stories told in the movie. Those who don't, no need to worry, the ride is fast and furious.

Probably one of the funniest and most laugh out loud movies I've seen in years. Heck, I could barely hear half the movie from all the laughing in the theater. To anyone who rates this movie low, you either haven't seen it and are just being a hater or you have no sense of humor what so ever. Great movie, totally recommend it. Tucker makes movies the way I wish everyone did. Enough with the politically correct bullcrap that's out there today and back to just plain making REAL movies that are REALLY funny.
