Great music, dancing and alot of energy...a couple of sad parts, but overall a very good movie...I had never seen Kenny Wormald...he did a great job! Julianne Hough is so talented in everyway...she made the show! Miles Teller was funny and did a great job too! I loved the little girls singing they were awesome!

Took our 13-year old son; a great time was had by all. It's hard finding movies that will work for the whole family; this one did the job! Fun, light, even the expected "high school fighting" scenes weren't bad. Great dancing, fun actors. Great way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon. Would definitely watch it again.

When they original came out people weren't grinding and haveing simulated sex on the dance floor like now. So the dances have gotten alot more Dirty.
The best reason to watch this movie is for Julianne Hough fans - she is a fantastic dancer and always delivers. For this generation of kids the dancing is normal for anyone older than 30 you are in for a shock if you haven't been to a club lately.

Saw Footloose, it was OK. VERY reminiscent of the original, same basic dance scenes, same plot only in GA instead of a presumed TX. Pretty much just a re-watch of the original...don't expect anything more and you wont be disappointed.
