This film is amazing, and I'm not just saying this because it has Robert Pattinson starring, but because the overall performances of the actors were completely brilliant. The story was really good, but I have to say I did not see any of what happened to be coming, which is obviously good because it means that the film was actually done right. Like many, I think we shouldn't already know what is going to happen even though it's very common nowadays to pretty much know what's coming our way. Director Allen Coulter should be proud, he filmed an amazing picture. Highly recommend!

Rob Pattison seriously stepped up his acting skills from his lack luster performance in the Twilight movies. The ending will come as a shock and i'm happy there was no hint of it in the trailers or commericials. It was one of the best movies i've seen in a while and will be seeing it more than once definantly!

I took my 13 year old daughter who is in love with Robert Pattinson [she has a life size cut out in her bedroom] and even she hated the movie! It was tedious, boring, pointless, melodramatic and ***spoiler alers*** has a bad ending! I should have known when Lena Olin was in the cast. She in s jinx! Her film Unbearable Lightness of Being is another film that left me cursing when I left the theatre because of the pointless unhappy ending. But this was a bad film with a bad ending. How does academy award winner Chris Cooper read this script and say, "Hey, count me in."? Just a waste of time. Go watch Twilight or New Moon again if you want your Rob Pattinson fix!

I adore RPattz, but he should have "patz" on doing this movie. I could go into all the reasons why, but there are too many of them. If you are an RPattz fan and can't wait until June 30 to get your fix - this movie isn't going to do it for you. Watch "Twilight" or "New Moon" on DVD instead. This flick is gloomy in both script and lighting/mood, and the end is completely manipulative to the point where it ticked me off instead of jerking the tears the director, screenwriter, and producers intended. RPattz does look good and does a good job - but the best acting is the girl who plays his little sister. Save your money for extra popcorn for "Eclipse."

thankfully I didn't know the ending, as that surprise is the most memorable of the movie. It was a little predictable until that point, but always good. Great and loveable characters. A good drama about disfunctional families and real life. Dont let anybody ruin this for you by telling you what happens... and don't read spoilers.....

Robert Pattinson did WONDERFUL! He and Emilie de Ravin had great chemistry together. It started out sad and ended up sad, it was a tragic love story. It kind of reminded you of something Nicolas Sparks would write, but I loved it and recommend it for everyone. No matter who you are its going to touch you.

I thought this movie would be cheesy, especially since it's hard to picture Robert Pattinson convincingly portraying anyone besides Edward Cullen. But it wasn't cheesy at all. The acting was great and the story moved along at a great pace. The ending was very unexpected and I'm still wondering if it was the right ending for this movie. But overall it was much better than I expected going into it and I highly recommend it.

The movie shows that we can't let the struggles and distractions of everyday living take us away from showing how we feel about those we love.
That was also an important lesson about the events of 9/11. So it was more than appropriate to use that day in our country's history in this movie to remind us of that lesson.

I am already a fan of Robs but after this movie, I'm a lifetime fan. His performance was so emotional there were times I was holding my breath, waiting for his reaction. I could feel and relate to his torment of losing a loved one too early, brought me to tears. I also can relate to a dysfunctional family who don't really connect on any level, I had a life like that too. Rob was amazing and pulled all the emotions right out of me. I already hear about the ending, but it was done with such taste. At the end, I had tears streaming down my face. Besides Eclipse, I look forawd to seeing each and every movie he makes. Well done Rob.

This movie was awesome, very well done. Rob Pattison is extremely gifted, suprising depth. You could feel the angst of his character thru most of the movie, you wanted to like him but yet he had so much trouble expressing himself. The love story is the perfect medium to bring him into his own truth and repair the damage of the families. His devotion to his little sister shows what he wants most, both for her and himself. When he matures into who he will become, it makes you cheer for him. And then the movie reminds you to eat dessert first.

I love Robert Pattison!! This is why I went to go see this movie. He is an AMAZING actor! This is the best movie I have seen in a long time. I like most other people went because I am a Robert Pattison fan. It was nice to see him in something different. He did a great job and was believable. I thought it was a great movie, well writtten, and produced (it was co-produced by Robert Pattison). I also sa Pattison portray Salvador Dali. It was an odd role, but he did a great job in that too! My only dissapointment was that they did not show the Eclipse trailer. I went to the movies premier night and no Eclipse trailer!!!

I went into the movie not having a good idea of the storyline, but as the film went along, it was very easy to understand and get caught up in everything that was going on. Forewarned to future movie-goers...you will most likely cry in this movie a few times, so bring tissues!!

Absolutely Brilliant! I would have to say definitely one of the most realistic movies I've seen in a VERY long time. All the characters react as if it were real life and not just scripted. This movie is about loss, love, and grief... and trying to find your way through it. You can REALLY see how much Robert Pattinson has grown as an actor in this film. I literally can't see anyone else playing this part. I seriously believe this is his best film yet. Everything is there... all the emotion just rolls off him but stays there at the same time. All that emotion barely contained. I can certainly see him winning some awards for this movie.
Don't just walk but run to see this movie. Oh and bring the box of tissues... you will need it.

I thought the movie was great; Robert Pattinson was amazing and the whole story line was awesome and well done. The only thing that I thought was so frustrating was the random ending. It didn't flow with the rest of the movie and it came out of nowhere. It nearly ruined the whole movie for me because I left with this feeling like, "that made no sense and seemed completely pointless in regards to the plot". It seemed very self-indulgent on the director's/producer's end. My friends felt the same way. So disappointing!!
