Unforgettable!! The trailers are somewhat misleading. Although there is a romance in the story, there's much more involved. The movie has a profound message at its core, and the story is one everybody can relate to on some level. All the actors are wonderful in their roles!! Some critics are calling the ending "manipulative," "exploitative," and "ghastly," I don't feel manipulated at all. I feel grateful to the film makers for reminding me of a devastating event that affected so many lives and familites--and why we should cherish every day we have and love with all our hearts. Go see it!

Like everyone else is saying on here - this movie is a complete shock. It starts off very confusing and you think at first that it's badly written, acted, and over-exaggerated. But once the film comes full circle you understand the need and reason behind the first hour and 50 minutes of the film. This was a brilliant film. Not at all what you would expect. It's not a chick flick. It's an amazing tribute to life and love...and...yeah. Just see it. I don't want to ruin the magic of it for anyone either.

This movie will stay with me a long time. I found it to be a moving tribute, brilliantly acted, particularly by Emilie de Ravin, Robert Pattinson, Chris Cooper, and young but very talented Ruby Jerins. It makes you think, take stock, and appreciate aspects of your own life. It is not sappy, melodramatic, exploitative, or manipulative. This movie makes you take stock of your life. I never cry at movies but this one pulled the rug out from under me. I won't spoil the ending for anyone else, but my god, what a tribute. They humanized a part of our history in such a way that it touched every person in that theater. This movie absorbed me from the beginning. It was incredibly written and I was satisfied with every actor's performance, especially Pierce Brosnan. For all tweens who wish to see this based on their crush Robert Pattinson, I’d suggest holding off. If they’re adult enough to understand and appreciate his performances in Little Ashes/How to Be, then go and see Remember Me. Anyone who wishes to see this movie for other reasons, beware of all the swooning that will happen every time Pattinson removes his shirt. Emile de Ravin is the highlight of this film, watching her transformation is incredibly moving. The star who will emerge from this film, I predict to be Ruby Jerins, whose acting represents someone twice her age and experience.

Wow...excellent movie. The story, the acting, the ending. It's one that I will not forget anytime soon. It touched my soul. Completely forgot that Emilie & Rob played other characters on Lost & in the Twilight saga. Didn't know RPatz had that kind of performance in him. I'm impressed...very. I am a huge Twilight fan and was excited to see Robert Pattinson in such a different yet similar role. He has a great moody appeal but showcases a great amount of character as Tyler. It was good to see him in a role that doesnt require him to be so stoic and restrained. The movie flowed well and continually kept my interest despite reading spoilers ahead of time. All the actors were amazing and I look forward to watching this movie again and again.

I left the movie theater speechless - completely in a good way. Hours and hours later I am still trying to wrap my head around it. Brilliant acting by a majority of the cast, I really felt for them and cared for them. The cinematography was so great and the writing was incredibly believable and moving. I don't even know how to describe how moving this movie was. I can't wait to watch it again. I thought Rob and Emilie did a fantastic job of portraying the difficulties and joys of life. Surprisingly enough, the new come-of-age actress Ruby Jerins was a delight to watch. This movie was beautiful!
I went to the midnight viewing, largerly due to Rob and the Eclipse preview, but I already have it arranged to watch it again on Saturday night. This is a movie I would enjoy to own.
For all the young ones who love Rob, this movie is not appropiate to view until at least 16.
I highly recommend this movie to not only my friends and family, but anyone who happens upon this review.

RM is a gritty, realistic portrayal of dysfunctional families that many can relate to. Pattinson is quite moving & surprisingly subtle & the dynamics of his character's relationships with his sister, father, mother, friend & girlfriend are all varied & rich. His range is impressive & the camera adores him. deRavin is immensely likeable & her scenes with Pattinson are layered & build. Jerins is a gem. Brosnan & Cooper inhabit their roles with gusto. The script by Fetters is impressive. Coulter’s storylines intertwine & emerge as a thoughtful analysis of what is important in life. This film is easily the best I've seen this year & I will definitely see again. All involved should be proud of the result: a moving & honest family drama.

After the movie ended, I and my companion sat stunned in our seats for several minutes. Although I would have liked a happy ending, the film was much more powerful ending the way it did. No one plays a tortured soul better than Rob. Even if many people do not share my obession for the Twilight Saga, the saga has at least given us one actor of note. I look forward to seeing Rob in many more roles that will leave no doubt of his stellar potential. (Hopefully many of them will be rated PG-13 as I will not attend R-rated films as a moral choice.) Emilie deRavin, Pierce Bronson, Chris Cooper, Ruby Jerins, Tate Ellington, Tricia Poluccio and Kate Burton also added brilliant performances. They gave us believeable characters that mattered.

Went with my cousins,by the end we were all balling, especially me.So don't forgot to take some tissue.The movie had a little bit of everything: love, passion, loneliness, self-discovery but moreso heart. He gives himself fully in this role and you can definitely see that.. A must see whether you're a fan or not bc the cast as whole is solid.

More serious than any rom-com, good performances by all (and you don't have to be an RPattz fan to believe in the character he portrays in this film.) Good plot twist at the end.
