This was a wonderful, touching movie with a very surprising, emotional ending. Everyone should see this movie, it's very moving. Just fantastic.

A worldly expression often used to calibrate life in its fullest…expect nothing and appreciate everything……..this movie was a testament to that expression…..I expected nothing and was not disappointed……what could have been a great movie was NOT……. Brooding lead that could never smile……ridiculous reasons for anger…..timelines that are less than accurate…….limo ride to school and walk home inconsistencies…….just simply poorly written, directed and acted……..with the exception of Pierce……always stellar…….

I saw it only because a friend is obsessed with Robert Pattinson. I was too long and dragged itself on. I continously checked my watch to leave. The ending fails to explain a very large amount a detail. Such as, why do the girls at his sister's school bully her? Why is his father so mean? Why is he a drunk? In general i did not enjoy it what so ever, and that concludes this review.

Have seen it twice and will see again. Shocking ending - would have never guessed it was going there. Didn't want to leave the theater until I was able to process. I thought Pattinson did a great job as well as all the other actors. Can't wait to buy the DVD when it comes out.

I really got into this movie. The critics were harsh in some of their reviews. I thought the acting was done very well . I thought the characters were developed and I loved the ending, how it tied up loose ends. A bit of a surprize, sad but gave me closure. I sat in the theatre and let the credits roll. I was a little dazed and in no hurry to leap from my seat. It was very quiet and no other viewers were talking as they left. I would recommend it !

I went to this movie because all the reviewers reviews were a 5 star. I should of look at their ages. It was a two star at the most Anyone who have a long history of watching good movies would never appreciate it. The star? over acted and tried too hard to imitate James Dean and it didn't work. He needs a few more years before he can even be called a good actor. I never could figure out the point of the story line . Moral- Don't let a guy with no talent who plays a vampire sway your opinion
