this movie was awesome they chose the perfect people to portray the people in real life, Sandra Bullock did an awesome job portraying Leigh Anne, they couldn't have chosen anyone better for that role. Everyone was perfect for the part they played and SJ how cute can he be!!

This movie was heart warming, inspirational and entertaining. THe best part is it is based on a true story. Wonderful to know there continues to be people in the world who are willing to take a chance and make a difference. Sandra Bullock was fabulous. She deserves an Oscar. Definitely, a go see.

I love movies that make you laugh and cry. Until I saw this one, Steel Magnolias, was all of my families favorite movie. Not any more. I don't go to theatres often to see movies, I usually wait until they are out on DVD or for sale but I couldn't wait to see this one and went the first day it came out. I woke up the next day still thinking about it and would pay to see it again. I think all the actors in this movie deserve an award.

Funny as well has heartwarming. Great movie for all to see. Tho would not go on opening night again, to packed and hot in theater. Really also helped that we bought our tickets online, was sold out when we got there.

The gentle giant who moves slowly and softly was such an intriguing character, and Sandra Bullock plays a Memphis Belle to perfection. She and her family capture the awkward situation that must have ensued as they gradually invited an extremely large, guarded, fish-out-of-water young man into their home when he had nowhere to go.
Tim McGraw is appropriately understated as the father. The little kid who plays S.J. steals more than a few scenes.
And whoever played Michael Oher did a great job. I don't like Ole Miss, and I hate the Baltimore Ravens, but after this movie, I find myself wanting to root for Michael Oher.
Great movie, and my non-football-loving fiancee loved it, more than any movie we've seen in some time.

Knowing a little bit about the story it was great to see it brought to life on the big screen by a great cast. Hollywood should take notice that good clean family movies can still make money and make a difference.
