Refreshing. I recommend highly as clean, responsible entertainment with an admirable message. Sandra Bulloch is perfect, never looked better, and is right on target as today's southern belle directing her family in the best interest of all. Tim McGraw does believable and creditable job acting. The Tuohy family is cohesive and most typical southern sports-minded. Michael Ohr's role is demonstrated to be "a work in progress", admirable and self respecting. All those college coaches are showing their best sides for the cameras! A warm and worthwhile story. Suggest you make an effort to see this one.

I would highly recommend that couples and families alike view this film. The film prompts you to review your value system and prejudices. This true story is inspiring and thought provoking. If you are a sports fan, it will be an extra treat. I feel that the rating of PG-13 is appropriate and young children would be disturbed by some of the scenes.

It has been a long time since I can say I have enjoyed a movie this much. This movie was excellent. It made me laugh and cry. I cant wait till it comes out on DVD so I can buy it and watch it again. Sandra did a great job in this movie. I feel this was her best performance ever. The rest of the cast was very good. Next to Sandra SJ gets double thumbs up. I would love to be able to meet the actual family because there are not too many people out there that would have extended a hand or there home to another person in need; especially a person of a different color or nationality.

This is a great story with a wonderful message of sincere giving, sharing and loving those less fortunate. Jesus said, "Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to me." (Matthew 25:40). This movie is taken from a true story about a young teenager from the projects. He is befriended by a family who is convicted in their heart to do the right thing regardless of the difficulties and criticisms they may encounter. This movie is so refreshing from much of the non-social redeeming films that seem to be prevalent in the movie industry today. The Blind Side is a must see!

This 126 minute film flies right along and ends at the perfect moment in nearly real-time - the 2009 NFL draft. Sandra Bullock's best dramatic role since Speed. Story, casting, script, dialogue, pacing, cinematography, editing, sound....everything....is spot on. This movie could have overplayed it's "emotional hand" so easily. Director Hancock displays a deft touch in not letting the movie become maudlin & manipulative. The drama and impact of the story - lucky us - is preserved and the movie is a spectacular triumph! Don't miss it in-theater!
