I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, even though the ending was already known. I was surprised and impressed with Tim McGraw's acting and thoroughly impressed with Sandra Bullock's. Very-very well done and I recommend it to everyone.

The movie was excellent as far as the story line, the actors and the way one is pulled into the movie. It is very emotionally oriented and one moment, you are happy, the next anxious and then sad. In other words, all the emotions and trauma of like is explored and done in a tasteful manner. It is a uplifting story that all of us wish we could see happen more often. Sandra was beautiful but her acting was the thing that one remembers. The acting by the man playnig the young man was also excellent and quite believeable. His character did showed him to be like the bull in the story book and one never doubts that relationship.
I would recommend this to every and any one!

Absolutely LOVED it! So inspiring to hear what a difference one family made in the life of Michael Oher. What would happen to our world if every family mentored or sponsored an underprivileged child? I mentor/tutor a little girl in West Dallas. This movie has encouraged me to do more....

This movie was fantastic. Very heartwarming and true to life. Nice to see someone stepping forward and helping a kid that is less fortunate. It needs to happen more. So many teens out there need someone that cares to mentor them. Sandra Bullock was super for the part. Tim McGraw was great. Seemed like a typical husband. Very down to earth. My husband and I took our kids, aged 10 and 12. We were all absolutely riveted by the story. It provoked laughter, cheers, and tears, like a great movie should. To know that it is a true story, though, made it a good conversation starter as well. It is truly one of the best movies I can ever remember seeing. Go see it - you won't be sorry!

I went to this one with high expectations b/c I had heard a lot of good things about it and it did not disappoint. The movie was a good mix of drama with some funny parts. It was touching on many levels and a real feel-good film. I would recommend it! (Also, I thought it was appropriate for older kids- ones old enough to enjoy a movie without physical comedy stunts or cartoons in it.)

This is the absolute best movie I have seen in a long time. Sandra Bullock was sharp and quick-witted throughout the movie. You worry that sometimes the previews you see of a movie end up being the only good parts, but that was not the case at all with this movie. It was wonderful and touching and was the perfect movie to bring my whole family to without having to worry about excessive language, violence or the like. Loved it from start to finish!
