Many scenes in this movie seriously cracked me up. My girls, ages 6 & 8, really liked it. Even my 3-year old girl seemed mostly entertained by it. Good messages about how to treat your friends in the end. I am pretty conservative and was not really offended by anything in the movie. Good talking points to show kids how NOT to treat other kids.

I went to see this with 3 boys, ages 6, 8 & 10. They all loved it & it was enjoyable for me as well. The older 2 boys have read the books, and my 6 yr old is currently reading the 1st book. We all laughed a lot & they thought it was SO funny when I was grossed out! I'm not sure how young girls would feel about it, but we really enjoyed it!

My 9rd old has read the books & really enjoyed the movie. I thought it was a little slow and could've ended better. Definitely worth the money if your kids like the books.

I have a 1st, 2nd and a 4th grader. the 2nd and the 4th graders have read the books and rated the movie "9 and 1/2 dad!" and "8 and 1/2" dad, respectively :-)
The 1st grader loved it too and he now wants to read the series. A great movie for a young family.

My 10 yr old son loves the Wimpy Kid books & loved the movie as well. I found it to be entertaining, with a good lesson on friendship. I would recommend this movie to families with 10-12 yr olds, especially boys.
