If you grew up watching movies like "Better off Dead" then this is a great send up to those old 80's comedys. The sight gags, and gutter humor are very funny, but alot of it may be lost on people that did not experience the 80's first hand. Even the kid in the movie that tags along dosen't seem to get it. If you love lowbrow humor and 80's music, this is for you, other wise you might want to pass.

This one may work for guys in their 20's who have not gotten their "gross-out guy humor" fix in for the week but for the rest of us the 15 minutes of inventive humor is not worth sitting through 85 minutes of "F bombs", misogynistic rants & "teeny-bopper sex talk". Really disappointed to see John Cusack sink this low. My wife got up & walked out after 30 minutes, kissed me on the cheek, explained she could not take the pure raunch any longer, said she would read a book in the lobby & wait for me. I stuck it out thinking maybe there would be a pay-off if some kind. My better half had it right.

This movie had some very funny scenes, and the 4 guys worked together well. It's not over-the-top funny like There's Something About Mary, but definitely some good stuff. There are some serious overtones regarding guys looking at their lives and having doubts about what they've done up to that point, ala City Slickers and Wild Hogs, which are two of my favorite "guy" movies, so I liked this one too. Definitely something I'd recommend.

The Hangover it was not, but it still made my husband and I laugh outloud several times. The plot is really weeak, and the language tries too hard to be crude, but- overall the film is funny enough to make it worth your while. There are many subtle (and some not-so-subtle) 80's movie reference that are great if you catch them. I imagine this movie would not be as funny to someone who did not acutally live durning the 80's.

This movie was pretty stupid. It is as stupid as it's title. There were some really funny parts that I really laughed out loud over, but it was largely a waste of good money. Don't get me wrong, a well placed four-letter word and some gross humor can go a long way, but that's about all this was. This was the worst movie ever produced. If I knew that I get get paid the big bucks for a script that used the F word almost every other word I would have written a movie myself. No script, no plot. Boring.
I almost asked for my $29.00 back form the theater. There were 12 people in a 150 seat theater.
I was in my thirties in the eighties and I don't remember anyone in my crowd using the F word every other word.
Burn the master and don't release on DVD. This is a bomb.

LIke many movies of this type, lots of the good stuff was all in the preview.
This movie had some really hilarious moments. There was lots of female partial nudity in this movie (breasts) and some pretty strong sexual and drug themes so I would not recommend it for kids. Overall I would say it kind of peaked early, then went into romantic comedy territory, but it finished strong so overall I think it was worth the trip to the theater. I plan on buying this when it comes out on DVD.

This movie was hilarious. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. It took me back to highschool. Loved the 80's clothes and music. This is going to become a classic!!

Not the best movie ever but definitely a good time. There were many laugh out loud scenes; and enough references for both my generation (high school/college in the 80's) and the iPod generation (those coming of age now). The casting of Crispin Glover was genius, as was the small part for the bad guy in the Karate Kid movies who is hiding behind a classic 80's 'stauche. Go see it!

Not bad; funny, very predictable but it's far better than going to see a chick flick on a Saturday night. I'm sure I'll have to see another Sex in the City movie as a result.
