While the first movie was GREAT, this sequel definitely didn't disappoint. I enjoyed seeing the real issues that happen in marriage (shown between Big and Carrie). I'm getting married 07/24/10 this year and it's good to see that even though at times, it can and will be peaches and roses, it's not the daily reality. I agree with another moviegoer that the other characters could've had more substance.

I watched the show religiously and saw the first movie about 50 times. This one was a total disappointment. It was a good movie but not a "sex and the city" type of movie. There was barely any glitz and/or glam, and they were in NY for a total of half hour. Wait for the DVD and don't waste your money at the theater!

A few slow parts but overall I LOVED It! I would see it again and I will buy the movie to add to my collection. My mother is 75 years-old and she thought the midnight movie was fun and is now a fan of the show. I could relate to a couple of the characters and that is why I love them-I see me.

Walked out after the first hour...it was the worst movie I have ever seen. I have seen better ABC Family Sunday night specials. It wasn't funny in the least bit. I went to the midnight showing thinking it would be a great way to bond with my sister. I've seen every episode of Sex and the City 5 times, and this was nothing like the series...I literally think 80 year old women wrote the script. There is one scene where Samantha rubs vaginal cream on her because she's going through menopause...I almost vomited up my popcorn! I left when they got to the Middle East because I could care less what happened there...I think she was about to meet up with Aiden. Don't see this movie, it was the biggest waste of time. I still love the series though...don't love the old people sex.

Hugely fun with lots of laugh out loud moments, some cringe-inducing scenes, and a few life lessons learned. The transition of the "girls" and their lives provided the audience with a real yet fantasy backdrop. I will go see it again. Samantha, Big and Carrie maintain my attention. Charlotte, Aidan, Steve and Amanda are tired and unrealistic.
Sex--Samantha is great for any plot. Adult love (Big/Carrie) is always an adjustment but wonderful when you get it right. Charlotte is too old to be naive, Aidan always annoys me,Steve the wimp..., Amanda needs to come out of the closet and Goldblatt cannot be that sweet.
The wedding, Liza, desert+++ were all great. New characters wih some depth wouldhave helped. Still, I loved it.

This movie was for those of us (men & women) who have been around the block a couple/few times.
Being on the north side of 45 with a private practice in this economy, teenagers, ex's, new wife, etc. I could related to all of the realities touched on in the movie.
As always there was enough humor to make the realities easier to swallow and appreciate that life is serious but you can make it fun.

Completely worth watching. It is so funny, even my huspand was cracking up. It also had drama in it. It was like a perfect mixture. I may have made the wedding at the beginning a little shorter, its seemed to drag for me. But overall great movie.

I have never been to a midnight movie on a Wednesday before but this was the right one to break "school night" rules for!!
The clothes: FAB; breathtaking (I will have to see it again - too busy gasping at the rich colors, beautiful fabrics)
The Girls - Is it possible all of them were more beautiful with age?

Very disappointed! I loved the first one, this one seemed like they rushed making it, spent too much time on certain parts of the movie, and every character was played up way too much! They were super tacky, and the music in it was sub par, esp the one karaoke part, which could have been awesome!!! :(
