LOVED this!! Yes, the wedding was over the top - Liza Minelli???? And yes, there were a few slow moments. But it was SATC at it's best - fashion and the fabulous four. But more than that - it spoke to the power of women and the fact that we're not perfect nor do we have to be. We all have melt downs and make mistakes. But at the end of the day, we have each other.

very fun and true to the series. Not as good as the first one, but how can anyone top Big and Carrie getting married! I was throughly disappointed. This movie was all about clothes and puns. The show, and the first movie were about that too, but at least it had more to it than that. I am a HUGE fan of the franchise, but this almost killed it for me. It's sad that this is the last memory of the show. They should have left it nice and wrapped up where the first movie ended. SATC 2 was much 'lighter' than the 1st one, which I also loved! This movie had my friends and I laughing so hard at parts...Samantha is her typical self but had some great one liners. If you are a SATC fan, you should see this one.It was WELL worth the price of the ticket.

For a Sex and the City movie there wasn't any sex or city! I've been a fan since the beginning and even though the major characters were in the movie, it was almost like they just put them in there for their 5 minutes and then moved on. SATC1 was much better. Yes there were laugh out loud parts but they were mostly the ones from the commercials and I already knew what was coming. I was really disappointed. Wait for dvd...the critics were right for once.

As a HUGE SATC fan who has seen every episode and absolutely loved the first movie, I was excited to go see this opening night. It was a fun atmosphere, that's for sure. I had read many reviews prior and unfortunately knew the entire storyline. In the first movie, there were so many tangents and halarious one-liners that even knowing most of the story going in was not an issue. This time, there wasn't any "more" to the story. This movie was far too predictable and they made Samantha almost a cartoon-character of herself. And Miranda and Carrie are now practically boringly "normal"! Worst of all, Charlotte & Miranda's husbands had very minimal roles in this film which I think is a shame. Those men are are great characters to play off of. It was cool seeing so much more of Big and especially so much of him and Carrie together. I'm not saying I didn't like the movie....but I didn't love it. If you are a SATC fan then this film is a "must-see". There were some great moments...my favorite is the conversation between Miranda and Charlotte over cocktails in their hotel room. That was the one time that I (and the entire theatre) was really cracking up out loud. The rest of the movie was funny - but honestly, I could see most of the jokes coming. I miss the show - when I was shocked by the humor, not expecting it.

WOW this movie was fantastic. It showed and defined the four young girls who met in NYC years ago and how they have grown in their lives and most of all their friendships. Most people think Sex & the City is about sex and they can't be more wrong. Carrie write a column titled Sex and the City but it is about four fabulous women who are friends through good and bad, better or worse, and will always have each others back. I love the men in this movie because they are very supportive of their women. They don't get jealous when the girls want to get together or go on a trip and everything is above board for the married ladies, Samantha on the other hand is single and can do what she wants, sometimes it is a bit over the top but that is her character. Loved it. They should have not taken the show off the air.

I'm a fan of SATC... I wanted to love this movie, however it really lacked substance....the reallife stories of each lady is normally analyzed in greater length....it was not the case here. Carrie has always clever/fun play on words....She had only a few that were cool....Yes the glam factor is there...but I was really underwhelmed....

I loved this movie. I'm a big fan of Sex and the City, and this was the epitome of what it's about. With a culmination of sex, fashion, delicious men, a gorgeous back drop and our four favorite woman, what more could a die hard fan want!
