The writing for SATC2 was epically bad. the one liners were too cheesy for even my great grandmother. I also found some of the scenes kind of offensive (the girls in Burqas? hmmmm). But, if you're a die hard SATC fan (like the friends who took me), it will fill your craving for Carrie and the ladies.

Entertaining! The ladies looked fabulous! Some of the lines were a bit lame. Overall, would definitely recommend. It was nice to see how each lady has come into their own and is comfortable with who they have become. Loved the end when Big gave Carrie the black diamond and he decided on black as it as rare as Carrie. The narrative of Carrie saying she was exploring the many colors of life. Simply beautiful. Loved the fact that she felt confident enough to tell Big the truth. They have truly grown as a couple, learning to communicate with each other. Only took, what 10 yrs. Nice to see Miranda take charge of her life too. All around... Go see it!

It was great seeing so many ladies, of different ages, standing on line for an hour wearing their most fabulous heels and purses. It is def an official "Ladies Night Out."
I do not want to give any plot twists, not that there were many, but I can def see a third movie being written as we sit here.

Absolutely loved this movie and I cannot believe I almost passed on it due to bad reviews. I would have been highly upset because this movie brought together 12 of my girlfriends and that almost never happens. What a great experience amongst wonderful ladies. We laughed… some cried… and then laughed some more. Go see this movie (preferably with one of your “soul mates”)… you will not be disappointed.

Even though not as great as the first, it's definitely a must-see - especially seeing the foursome together again and the adventures they get themselves into. Definitely a great movie to see with your girlfriends (or select guy friends!) ... you're bound to get some good laughs.

They should have stopped with the first movie. I found this movie pointless in the sense that it did not develop the character's relationship at all. It also seemed to be directly attacking the Middle Easterner culture. The few points they did make in the movie such as Charlotte's take on motherhood and Big/Carrie relationship could have been stuck at the end of the last movie and no one would have missed out on anything from this sequel.

I love the SATC series (have watched it all the way through more times than I can count) and was fairly happy with the first movie (saw it twice in the theater), but this 2nd movie is terrible. Skip it unless you enjoy cheap laughs and don't care about what they've done to our beloved characters.

it was a great excuse to go out with the girls. Everything seemed a bit over-the-top (and not in a glamorous way). It was missing a lot of the grit and emotion that the first one had. The dialog was cheesy in some places. I kept waiting for something shocking, a big twist that hadn't been played out in the previews. With that said, the clothes were incredible and the girls were beautiful.

Empowering movie for women in all stages of life and cultures. Carrie struggling to define her new marriage, Charlotte going through the terrible twos and hot nanny, Miranda balancing work and family, Menopausal Samantha fighting old age and Arab women living within their culture but bringing in their uniqueness. To top it all off - a gay wedding! And, some 300 or so good looking men :-) I liked it more than the first movie. Can't wait to see SITC-3... will Carrie have a baby?

I am a true fan of The Girls. I've seen every episode & the first movie (even purchased it) ... I was not let down by the sequel either. Fashion, shoes - oh those shoes, laughs, tears ~~ S&TC2 has it all. Plus Samantha at her best!
Hoping there is a S&TC3 in the future.

Fast moving, full of plot twists and turns that keep the 2+ hours entertaining. All the action, clothes and sets do distract you from the thin, but enjoyable plot. The ending was a little lack luster and trite, but hey - you really go to see the gals, the guys and the outfits, right?
