I have watched the girls since the series started. The first movie was just a chance to see the girls in action again. This movie actually took the girls forward towards reality with their day to day lives. The rest was a lot of fluff and fun like the series. I hope they do #3.

Loved it!! I have probably seen every episode at least 4 times and I have to say I loved this movie. I liked it even better than the first! It wasn't as "dark" as the first one and seemed very similar to the series. Parts were very corny but that is part of the charm that is SATC! I hope they go for number three, I am enjoying growing up along with the girls!!

Parts of the movie were absolutely hilarious and had me in stitches, but even I, a very non politically correct person was offended/insulted not only by Samantha's over-the-top behavior, but also the fact that it was blamed on menopause. Not to mention, her complete disregard/lack of respect for the laws/traditions and beliefs of the country she was visiting. In the wake of all that is still going on in the middle east, it shows very poor taste to have even an American character in a movie go to a middle eastern city and blatantly thumb their nose at the middle eastern laws/traditions and beliefs. As a fan of the Sex and the City series/movie, I certainly expected the sequel to contain more class/taste. Finally, the series/movies really revolve around Carrie, and it wasn’t fun watching her go from fun/loving too selfish/self-centered.

I became a Sex and the City fan AFTER the reruns began because I didn't subscribe to HBO, but I certainly relate to what the ladies went through then and now.
Women of all ages and races from 18 to 80 just had the BEST TIME getting together to celebrate each other and what the movie represents: UNCONDITIONAL FRIENDSHIP.
The movie itself was a tribute to women of ALL ages so I thought it was EXCELLENTLY done!

I was...we were very disapointed. Sex and the city is about the girls and new York and clothes. And the entire movie was in India. With awful India clothing. Sarah Jessica didn't do a good job. I waited a year to see this movie. Now the first one....well that was the best ever!!! It's a movie you can watch over and over again. This one is way to long so it made it even worse. We even paid our babysitter to stay with our babies and now it's a waste of family time too. I could have taken my kids to shrek instead. Boooo!!! Boooo!!! No good girls sorry!!! Went to see it with the girls and enjoyed it. Had some funny and cute moments. It had some slow parts but overall it was just okay. There was a few eye candy scenes which made us smile. You can really see the age in these girls in the movie. The first movie was definitely better than this one but it is still worth seeing.

Sorry to say, but not nearly as good as the first movie. One of the biggest dissapointments was Samantha's part. OK we all know her to be "the loose cannon" and usually hysterically funny as the "do what she wants with whom she wants girl" but in this movie she just comes across as skanky. The plot line is just ok, and the clothes/shoes were not nearly as fabulous as last time. On the brighter side there were some good parts, nice locations, and some laughs. One last thought, this movie would be a good choice for an at home viewing with the girls..no need to spend 2 1/2 hours at the theater !

Loved it! - Went with 20 girlfriends last night! Great summer escape! - Not as good as the first, but a lot more lighthearted! I liked that Miranda was so fun! Great girlfriend movie! Fashion AMAZING! I felt like I was on a getaway. At one point when they were on the camels I felt like I was there, and reached to pull out my camera to take a pic of the desert, and realized I was in the movie theater! Thanks for the escape girls!! Love you! You feel like they are your best friends! And they kindof are! I would see #3. ;)

I went with a group of about 10 women, and I think the consensus was the movie was good, and fun, but that it spent more time on the "vacation" story line than their normal character development. It was entertaining, and the outfits in the desert were hilariously wild and festive, but we thought version 1 was better. Still a great time was had by all!
Also - note to men - go see the movie this weekend and you will have your pick of likely the most gorgeous women in your city. The women in my theater brought their A-game. The people watching before the movie was almost as good!

I have always been a big fan of the TV show, and I actually enjoyed the 1st movie. However, this film was mediocre at best. The audience only laughed out loud maybe 2 or 3 times. They pretty much took everything that was great about the original story line and threw it away. Overdone, overacted, and exaggerated. Barely has any shots of NYC. No chemistry between the actors. The costumes and visuals shots are certainly breathtaking. Thats about the best part.

I LOVE the series and the first movie but this movie was just....meh. It was over-glamorized and the characters were caracatures of their former characters. I loved the show and the first movie. That being said, the girls are old now, and they have everything they want. It's really obvious how old they've gotten when you blow their faces up 80 feet big and shoot them in HD. And the whole essence of the show seems to have faded. It used to be all about finding true love and having a happy career and really living up to the new expectations of women. Now that they've done it all, it's kind of boring. Not worth 2hrs and 27 minutes. Because a whole movie about happily ever after would have been boring, they made up such an unrealistic plot line that was ridiculous and inconsiderate of Middle Eastern culture and values. If you liked the show, you have to see it, but maybe rent it.

You don't have enough time to appreciate all the great fashion in each scene so watching it more then once is a must. Which with this movie shouldn't be hard. Sex in the City did deliver in the pun intended jokes.,but In two scenes and I do think you will know wich two I am talking about maybe would had been better to keep those as deleted scenes for the DVD!

The girls are back as fabulous and over the top as ever. The theater crowd laughed and cheered during the entire movie which only added to the festivities. Although most of us aren't dressed in designer clothes and 4" heels, we can relate to the real life problems in the movie. Grab your BBFs and go see this movie!
