This movie was pretty bad and WAY TOO LONG! However, I recommend seeing it just so fans of SITC can stay in the loop because there are sure to more to come. Aside from having to sit for 21/2 hrs what I disliked most was: The hair and makeup folks made Carrie look god awful. Dark hair and makeup aged her 15 years and the really bad costume design was so disappointing for those of us who loved the original shows way out yet glamorus fashion. The last hour is dedicated to kind of a keystone cops like antics as the girls run around abu dhabi dressed and behaving inappropriatley. This might have been funny if it were not so over the top. Anyone who knows anything about the UAE knows that these "antics" would have gotten the girls beaten, imprisoned, jailed and possibly killed. What I liked: The wedding scene was funny and there were several other laughs through out the movie. Lets hope they do better next time.

I highly recommend this dose of empowerment to all women. This movie is a great one to view with girlfriends and bond even more. It is the complete package of comedy, drama, fantasy, fashion and honesty. It is genius how the creators were able to package such a fantastical picture with so much truth that we can all relate to in our lives. I went to the movie in a crappy mood and it truly touched my soul and grabbed a laugh out of me.

Went with the same girlfriend I saw the first one with...we both thought it was better then the first...more like the show...loved the clothes! thought all the women looked great...and the one man was so handsome ! I was so excited to go see SATC2 after the first one was amazing. However, the movie was too long, it had no solid plot, the middle east part of the movie was overdone, and omg the cast looked terribly old. We had hardly any New York moments. Hardky any of the women actually interact with their significant other and maybe it was just me but Carrie seemed a little on the nagging and bi*chy side in this movie. Save your money and rent it if you want to see it!

It far exceeded our expectations ( we expected it to be good, not great, which it was!). We loved the fact that it was not made up of cliches and stereotypes. Instead, it was a funny, heart warming and thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Don't miss it!

I really loved this movie as I enjoyed the tv series. It was colorful and I loved seeing the culture of Dubai. It was fast moving and fun. The only thing I didn't like were two parts that were pretty sexually explicit with Samantha that I wish were a little more toned down. I still like to use my imagination and it was too raw. All in all I enjoyed it and would say go see it. I hope another one comes out.

Though, in my opinion, not as good as the original Sex and the City "The Movie" I really did enjoy catching up with the girls and their lives and experiences. Let's face it, we didn't always enjoy each and every episode of the HBO Series, but I do enjoy the movies if we can't get those anymore. It's a go see movie for sure!

I enjoyed going to the movie because it was a birthday celebration for a friend and 20 of us went. But the movie itself was too formulic and, for once, the clothes were terrible. NY is a major charcter in the story lines, so they need to make a movie where they stay in the city and deal with their situations there. Patricia Fields is way off her glory days. Only the outfits at the beginning of the film are attractive. Gold harem pants in the desert borders on a bad stereotype. The makeup was terrible -- everyone looked way too old. I appreciate aging gracefully, the the way to do that is not tan skin like a leather. The acting -- only Cynthia Nixon created a character worth rooting for.

I really loved the HBO show and the first movie. I was VERY disappointed in this movie....when i left it felt like "wow, that was 3 hours of my life I will NEVER get back". I had heard a lot of negative reviews, but I am a fan so I had to see this movie for myself. I liked it better than the first one! I really liked Aidan back during the series, so I was glad to see him in this movie. The friendship of the 4 characters was pretty much the basis of the movie and that's what I think it should be about. Of course, it did show their individual lives...but also how they always come together in the end.
I could do without seeing so much of Samantha, but I guess I expected that.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie was really fun and exciting ...and I especially loved the glitz and the glamour and found it to be very funny!!! Loved Sarah J's closet and her and her hubbys New York apartments!!!
Althought it was over two hours long....it kept you interested and would definitely be a movie that I recommend to friends and associates!!!!!

Samantha is really getting rather long in the tooth to act like a twenty year old. Young women are seen as flirtatious but older women are regarded as trampy. I wish her libido well but she's really over the top. Her skin looks beautiful and she's in great shape but some of the outfits should be worn by a 24 year old not a 50 something. Thanks for the ass shot but I thought he was even pretty with his pants on.

I thought it was a good movie but the first one was still the best! Samantha made Sex in the City 2 super funny! I don't think they should do another movie though. It was a good ending and should leave it be.
