I was truly amazed at how the teens in our group made a true connection with one or more of the characters portrayed in the movie.
I loved the reality that it showed about what our teens face in their real world and the reality of what our Christian teens face in their world.
My only regret was going to the movie at 7:00 pm because had we caught the 4:00 movie we could have grabbed pizza afterwords and had time to discuss what we saw, what we felt, what we connected with and what are we going to do with this now.

We had to rearrange our schedules to see this because the 1st show we attempted was sold out. it was soooo worth it. our 7th grade dtr & 4th grade son can not stop talking about it. it's aimed at teens, but younger kids are exposed to a lot of the themes (loneliness, partying, sex) in today's music, so we keep an open door policy in our home and talk about the real world with them, as it's better to learn the real truth from mom & dad than the slanted world view from the media & kids at school. this movie presents these themes in a way that isn't preachy and gets kids talking. i wish the whole school could see it. if you have any interest, GO SOON, as it's not staying in theaters longer than two weekends or so. make it happen!

totally enjoyed it! this film every teenager and parent needs to see! this film needs to make it's way to small communities not just the big ones. My youth group was so inspired, and related to everything in the film. Let's keep this going, and get it out on DVD fast. It has opened up many discussion topics for our group, and opened our eyes.

The conflict with Roger (who commits suicide) is the truest conflict you can get out of high school and highschoolers and teens in 2010. If there's any movie you bring your teens to, or any movie you suggest, TO SAVE A LIFE is the way to do that. Go to the movie's homepage after you've seen it (and you won't regret that $10 you spent at the movie theater), and help the movie reach it's full potential THIS is the movie that deserves Best Picture!!!!

A powerful Film with a Great Message. The Acting is Suspect but who in Hollywood would do a Film like this. Dealing with most if not all what Teens face Today. It's Time that Teenagers realize who God is and this Film will introduce them to that. Also what a Great Message to send to Teens on Abortion. A must See.

I have 17, 16, and 14 year old teenagers, and can tell you from personal experience, this movie hits on many real life topics that teenagers face today - popularity, drugs, suicide, pregnancy, and life after high school. But most importantly, it conveys the message of where they can turn to if they need help in dealing with any of those issues. We took the 16 year old by himself, and it made a very positive impact on him. We are taking the other two tonight with some of their friends. I highly, highly, recommend this movie to all teenagers as well as the parents of teenagers
