I went and saw this movie with three college age friends, two who were already Christians and one who was not. We all loved it!!!! It's an amazing movie that, as the other reviews say, deals with REAL problems that high school students face. It's the most realistic high school movie I have ever seen. The themes of peer pressure, dealing with loneliness, and showing love even when it can harm you, are all very important and have a big impact! I hope the movie stays in theaters so that I can grab more friends and see it again! The acting was great! I thought it was put together pretty well and didnt come off as a cheap inspirational film. It had meaning, but was also entertaining. Altogether, a 5!!!!

My husband and I saw it on opening night. To deal with just about every thing that our teenagers face today at school and at home was incredible. The acting was great and they didn't sugar coat anything! Our teenage daughter and almost teenage son went with their youth group the next night! They thought it was awesome as well! I think this movie will spark many conversations at home and hopefully at school and youth group!

My husband and I have not stopped telling people about this movie since we saw it over the weekend. Highly recommend this movie for ALL parents...no matter the age of your children. Also for anyone who works with kids of any age. It gives an excellent perspective of the pressures kids are under from friends, parents and the pressure they put on themselves. "To Save A Life" is a true to life story told in a realistic way. I only wish a Christian based film would get the exposure that other movies get. Two thumbs up...if I had more than two thumbs, they would be up too!

This movie adressed many issues other movies tend to ignore or even glorify to our teens. Our teens are living these issues and this movie handled their world with ways that maybe they can be the one to make a difference. It gave my sons alot to think about and showed issues hard to deal with that our family is even handling. Our youth group took 50 kids but i wish each of their parents could have been there to watch this movie to get insight as to how it is to be a teen in today's world. These are real issues and I am glad this movie addressed them in a way kids could relate.

I went and saw this with my family and 96 other people that go to my church out in Destin and I have to say that it was a really good movie. It's one of the best filmed christian movies i've seen in a while. I think everyone young and old needs to see this movie. This applies to every age group. It has a great meaning and speaks in many ways. Someone earlier gave this film one star because of the acting, the plot, and how they were "sneaking" religious preaching in the movie. I was very impressed by this movie, and the way it handled the difficult issues teenagers deal with on a daily basis. It got the message across without being to preachy. Our youth group loved it, and were inspired to go out and make a difference in their own schools and neighborhoods. I would recommend it for all teenagers and anyone who works with teens.

This is an excellent movie for both parent and teen, Many parents do not realize the intense pressure this generation is under today in the school environment. While watching some of the scenes with my 13-year old granddaughter was difficult, it provided an opportunity to talk about some of the issues raised. I have recommended that our youth leaders investigate the movie. Unfortunately, I had to drive 45 miles to see it - but it was worth it. It reminded me how important it is to hold up my grandchildren in prayer. I highly recommend the movie.

This movie is a no nonsense film which clearly illustrates what every teenager in America is or has been feeling. The depictions of each of the characters is very well done and one can relate to one or more of them. As someone who knows of a teen who has committed suicide, this movie really hit home for me. Everyone should see it, regardless of your age (13+ though) or how many children you have. If every school could have their own Jake Taylor...this generation could be amazing.

A must see for teens. I took my two teens yesterday and loved the messages from this movie. It deals with teen suicide, teen pregnancy, having dreams vs. life's harsh reality, feeling alone sometimes even within the most popular groups, the judgmental and the hypocrites. We realize what a safe haven a church or youth group can be and what a refuge a group of friends or even a single friend can be. We understand that taking that first step not only in our own lives, but in the lives of others can be. Don't be afraid to reach out because your hand might be the last lifeline. I was on the edge of tears for about 9/10 or this movie - sometimes tears of sorrow and sometimes tears of joy. A very moving and important movie.

This was an amazing movie and my 14 year old said she would see it again and would like to own it when it comes out on DVD. We took 4 teenagers to see it and everyone of them walked out of the theater and said that the movie made them think about their lives and how they can help others. I highly recommend this movie and am grateful that it was shown in Michigan bc only ONE theatre had it on opening night here and we drove 45 minutes to see it. I will say that I found out that a group of Pastors put up their own money to bring this movie to their area...that is devotion! They were told if they paid they would be reimbursed if they had enough ticket sales and guess what? God is good! No surprise!

I took my 17 yr old daughter to see this movie... as she has been through many of the challenges touched on in this movie. It made her cry, get angry, sadness, empathy and wanted to go back to a youth group again. Very good movie for parents with teens and youth groups. A must see!

I absolutely loved this movie! Yes, some of the content is hard to watch, but the movie deals with things that our kids come in contact with on a regular basis. I think this movie will help them think about the way they treat other people and how they respond to different circumstances. I have already recommended this movie to several friends and family members and will continue to do so!

The film showed in a powerful way how we need to reach out to teens and love them, let them know that we care and that they are not alone in their pain.The film shows teens and adults how we can reach out to teens make a difference to save lives. It showed the reality of many teens lives in a very real way. The movie does deal with tough issues like teen suicide, depression, cutting, pregnancy, and drug use so I would recommend this film for mature teens only because all the tough issues are also really sensitive issues and can be too overwhelming all at once. The film gives hope to teens who are struggling or have friends who are struggling. A great film!

I never expected this to touch so many aspects of real life! There is a "WHY" only God can answer ! God asks us over again: will you be My vessel to pour out REALness to someone in need of the REAL love, the REAL truth? This movie reminds us to "keep it real" as He did with us when he sought us out. The movie hit home on so many levels! It constantly reminded you to seek truth rather then be let down by selfish, vain, or even religious efforts...all of which have no lasting substance and will let you down in the end, always! It was fresh, real and reminded me of how amazingly everlasting God's Love and Power really are!
