This movie was horrible. I'm still upset that we went to the dollar theater to see it and wasted $12!!! The only things that were funny, were what they advertised in the trailer.

The previews telegraph the story pretty well. Will Ferrell was, somewhat, restrained which worked very well. And Mark Wahlberg was actually very funny. All in all, an enjoyable evening.

Much of this movie was laugh-out-loud hysterical and I really enjoyed it. It did lag in parts, particularly toward the end, but overall it was a good time. I would warn parents of adolescents especially that there was quite a bit of bad language and regretted allowing my 12-year old boy to watch it due to the "sexual content." Oddly, that aspect was better for the 8-10 set, for whom most of that humor would go completely over their heads. Very beginning was way too violent for kids too; thought I was in the wrong movie!

It was a good laugh movie, not one you go to see for the actual plot line or something like that. Its a movie that you have to go to see knowing that it is going to be ridiculous. I mean, its a Will Ferrell movie, come on... Anyway, it was good for a few laughs, a bit outrageous in some aspects, but thats what made it a good "fun" movie, not a real feature film sort of movie. Its a joke movie, so don't take it to seriously, but its fun to watch, so enjoy yourself.
