Is it a classic? Probably not, does it take film somewhere it hasn't been before? Not exactly. Was it completely enjoyable and worth the 2 hours and 20 dollars? ABSOLUTELY!! The action was great, the special effects were great, the story was nicely written and not overly predictable. Definitely worth watching!

Super entertaining... Again Nicolas Cage proves he can play any type of character and do it well. Supporting cast was great and you just get taken away for the full 1 hr. 51 min. Special effects great. Think I'll see it again!

I'm a Nicolas Cage fan..for the diversity in the films he plays; however, this particular movie has puts a good spin and twist to Greek mythology. The special effects are AWESOME! I recommend this movie for anyone who loves the story of Merlin the Magician...Morgana, etc...

I loved all the special effects and all the action. I LOVE all action packed movies. I'll bet if all my friends see it they will love it too because we all said to each other "I have to see The Sorcerer's Apprentice!!" So they will probably see it next week. So anyway I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!

this movie had some funny parts in it and it had some good special effects and action but it was a copy cat Harry Potter movie. Not much that was original in this movie. My son loved it, though and he is 9 years old. Would recommend for children around that age.

A large amount of the movie is special effects - so kudos to the effects. The story line is a good guy vs bad guy with a love story twist. I wish the story was written better - no love story please. If you love special effects - this movie will put you in overdrive.

Very entertaining. Another good Nicholas Cage movie. Nice story line with romance thrown in. I really, really liked the broom scene. But then Fantasia was one of most favorite movies growing up.
