This was a good movie. I think John Travolta played a great part. This movie had plenty of action, humor and a good story line. It is worth seeing.

My husband and I went to this movie. He is a Clint Eastward shoot em up kind of guy. I am not! We both had a great time. The language is awful, the plot somewhat predictable and the movie is very violent. What sold me was the interplay of personalities between Travolta and Rhys. It was definitely a movie that would probably be given 1 star by most critics but it was fun.

Unless you like shooting movies with lots of cuss words and lots of blood, dont see this movie. Throughout the movie John Travolta says the f**k word about 60 times, also the s**t word about 30 times. I REALLY dont recommend bringing children to this movie. There are also intense gun battles, with a lot of blood. The only part that was good was the car chase, as seen in the cover. Where John has a rocket launcher and trys to blow up a car.

We enjoyed this fast moving and funny action film. Travolta and Meyers had good chemistyry and we soon began to believe thier relationship fighting the bad guys. Of course much of the action was outrageous and unlikely but well done with great special effects.
Even though it was mostly predictable it was fun and entertaining.

Whatever he does, I think he's always fun. My husband and I liked the movie very much, we found it very enjoyable. Travolta has shown once again that he can act in any situation. He does the bald bad dude well. His transition from the young pretty boy to a Dirty Harry/ mentor or bad guy has been amazing. You forget he is the same man that was in Wild Hogs ( a personal favorite). Suprizingly good story line though I don't see this one winning any awards but it was very entertaining. Jonathan Rhys Meyers was a convincing romantic high achiever with the beautiful lover Kasia Smutniak (she is very exotic and strikingly beautiful) she has that "it" quality and will be seen in many roles for sure. Predictable twists but exciting still the same.

Bad script, bad plot - a total play on violence with all the trappings of foreign bad guys, drugs and terrorism - all solved in 24 hours. John Travolta is decent but Rhys-Meyers had a poor script to work with and it made his character look ridiculous. I turned to my husband halfway thru the film and said they must have made the movie in 2 months...and he commented "that long?" Save your money and watch the DVD if you like.

'From Paris With Love' starts out slow, but once the action starts, it's all-out, and nearly non-stop. While the copious amount of killing wouldn't be humorous in real life, the way it's played here, somehow it's entertaining and sometimes tongue-in-cheek funny. The story has just enough mystery to be interesting, but Travolta's acting is what makes the movie. As usual, he totally owned the character he played. If you like high action spy adventure, this one is worth seeing.

I love John Travolta as an actor, as well as, Rhys. Together I just did not connect with them as partners. My impression could be attributed to Rhys role in the Tudor series and unconciously I have character-type him in drama roles. That perception obviously affected my full enjoyment of the movie. I loved the action, over the top Travolta, and the twists and turns leading to the full realization of the story plot. See it for yourself.

After Pelham 123, I was a little leery of Travolta's acting abilities. What actually got me in the theater to see this was the fact that it was from the makers of "Taken", which is definitely on the top of my list of favorite movies! Walking out of "Paris With Love", I was pleased to say Travolta earned his place back on my list of fav. actors. I love that they added some comedy to this movie. I was either waiting for a laugh, or a big action scene around every corner! I recommend this be seen at the IMAX, and if available, in the D-Box section. I give it an A-

We went as a Valentines date to see this movie and I have to say it was a waste of our evening. Yeah the action was good at time but also very cheesy and unrealistic. Travolta does not do a good job as a bad-ass and his sidekick with the mustache isnt any better. It was nice to spend the time with my bf but the movie was a dud for both of us.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Travolta/Rhys-Meyers are a winning combination. Great car chase, lots of bullets, bombs and a good dose of humor throughout with the right amount of romance. Never a dull moment; you don't know what to expect! I loved every minute of it! (Worth seeing again.) Travolta/Rhys-Meyers could pull off a sequel.

I hope it got better as we walked out after the first 30-40 minutes. Ridiculous plot and even more ridiculous action. I usually like Travolta in any movie but even he couldn't save this one and I don't even know why Jonathan Rhys Meyers was even in the film. Went to see The Wolfman, much better.
