Any American should watch this film. Part of knowing what freedom is would be this process of indictment. It's sad that we have to go this extent, but what price freedom? Would you want a leader who is not true to him/herself to legislate? Done in a very clear and succinct fashion. Very well edited

This documentary is stunning. I don't agree with the common meme that these men are "self-hating". In fact, I think as the documentary shows, they think they are superior and better than other g@ys. The media treats all this with a glaring double-standard. Every time a g@y person is mentioned, they say that sexu@l orientation is a very "private" and "intimate" issue. But for straight people, it has NEVER EVER been private, but a source of constant conversation and even pride. *Every* straight politician is unapologetic about featuring his opposite-s#x lover in advertisements and bios.

There's definitely several sc@ndal moments in the film, as well as moments of intrigue & mystergy. But once you get over that, sadness sets in on many levels (i) sadness for the politician himself and how staying in the c!oset is damaging him, (ii) sadness for the politician's wife and what this does to her, (iii) sadness for the politician's family, (iv) sadness as to how this politician is att@cking other g@ys (and denying them rights) in order to come to terms with his hidden identity, and (v) duplicity by everyone else in terms of taking advantage of this phenomenan for their own personal political benefit, regardless of how they really think & believe. Unbelievable. One last emotion - anger.

Kirby Dick has done it again! Following his amazing documentary, "This Film Is Not Yet Rated", with another captivating film "Outrage".
"Outrage" doesn't exactly "make news" in the sense that no politician is "outed" in the film. It does highlighted the outdated view of Queer Politics in the Media and even within the GLBT Community.
I would absolutely suggest this movie to a friend!
