Went to see this movie because Kevin James is my all time favorite comedian. We all had a great time laughing thru the entire movie. Not a dull moment with all these great comedic actors. I highly recommend it. Even my children loved it!!

This movie was "pretty funny" but certainly not hilarious. It was entertaining; but with the cost of movie prices, can I say it was worth it? Yes...it was a worth the cost of admission, because it was only my husband and myself. If we had taken the whole family? Not so much! This is one you might want to wait until its dvd release if you are thinking about going with a family. On the upside, there is nothing that mom and dad would be embarrassed about watching with their kids. Nowadays, there's something to be said for that. Overall, I'd say a B-.

I thought the movie was just funny... it had a bit of everything for every age. I loved the cast, all the great comedians.... love, adam sandler, kevin james, chris rock, david spade and rob shneider, they were all just fantastic. Grown Ups is silly, sweet, and absolutely hysterical. If you like puerile comedy, this is the movie for you. Life had gotten me down and I needed a laugh. This movie delivered. Be warned, though, some of the stuff is pretty off-color. I brought my 13yo with me. His state of appalled horror when we find out that a 4yo is still nursing just about slayed me.

My husband, eight year old son, and myself really enjoyed this movie. We laughed the whole time. We are going to have to watch it again, as I am sure we missed parts we were laughing through. Thought it was an excellent movie.

The "professional" reviews of Grownups all said the movie was horrible -- barely got 2 stars! They were all wrong! It's like the Oscars ... they pick movies that no one's ever seen! More than 89% of average movie-goers recommend it. How could you not enjoy a movie with Doug Hefernan!! Sometimes, you just want some lighthearted fun. Message to Hollywood: You don't need to teach us to be nicer to the environment and more loving to all mankind -- we just want to enjoy the movie!
