I am an avid Nightmare on Elm Street fan, have been since I was in elementary school. I know many people have complained that Robert Englund is not in this one. Well, they just need to get over it! This was a fantastic movie and Jackie Earle Haley did a bang up job of making Freddy as scary as always! WATCH THIS MOVIE!

Had this move had Robert Englund again, it would have been FANTASTIC! Overall, well worth going to see and I would still rate it higher than the original. Special effects were great, background story was great, but it was just not Freddy without Robert! And if you saw the original Elm Street's, then you will know what I mean. This looked like a Mexican Freddy. Everyone else though, awesome!

The movie itself was just okay. It was like any other Freddy Krueger movie, except I personally didn't like Freddy's makeup. The only thing that made it better was the fact that I saw it in a DBOX theater. If you don't know what DBOX is then search for it online. It literally made me jump out of my seat.

The story was pretty good and it gave a better background on Freddy; but the guy who played Freddy is NOT Freddy Kreuger. He was not good and the new mask is awful!! Bring back Robert Englund or stop!

my review for this movie is a 1 because this guy freddy crugger comes out of nowhere and doesnt kill the guy for lik an hour. the movie was obiouse... you dont need a spoiler to tell you freddy crugger is comming.
